💐happy #moonmamamonday 🌙

each week we will introduce a Moon Mama and Khendel is up first! Make sure to show her some love 💕

MEET KHENDEL, OUR ARIES QUEEN! (she/her)

co-director | licensed cosmo | event coordinator | dj in training

🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔

Khendel is an integral part of the Moon Mama team. She comes to every event prepared to handle anything that comes her way and once she’s done with that, she’s ready to support her team in anyway possible. She truly is a Jane of all trades. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge in countless areas. However, her primary focus is being a licensed cosmetologist in the Roseville area, specializing in natural hair care. When she’s not at an event or in the salon, Khendel is a mom of one. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and reading.

✨Fun Facts About Khendel:✨
1. She is a proud Ravenclaw (we do not agree with the hateful comments of JK Rowling)
2. Foodie + champagne enthusiast
3. She can hyperextend her knees
4. She used to be a semi-professional dancer
5. She is a #sailormoon fanatic

If you know me, you know I LOVE a good meal. And this meal @allorasacramento was TOO good 🤤
I have to give @thedereksawyer his props cause I have literally zero complaints. This was the best meal I’ve had this year (maybe ever??) 10/10 highly recommend!!

Not pictured: the strawberry sorbet amuse-bouche 🍓🍨
It was so good! We raved about it so much that they sent out a full sized order with our regular desserts. Whoever the pastry chef is, you are indeed serving! 💅🏾

Anyways, you can find me dreaming about this meal until the next one!

happy #blackhistorymonth, folks! ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

A message from Khendel: as a black business owner, it’s important to me to create and foster a place and space for us, by us, that’s all about us! As black people we contribute so much to culture and the trends in society. We deserve to be seen, heard and valued.

I love black businesses and I want to see them thrive successfully in our community and beyond! #blackfuturemonth #blackfuturesmatter
