This past weekend was an awakening.

In the last 5 years I have worked a lot of events. A LOT of events. This one will sit with me different than the rest.

I've never been part of a more positive, cohesive, collaborative effort by a group of people NOT BEING PAID.

I truly hope this post makes it into the feed of everyone who helped make this year's Homie Town happen, so you can all get in on this gigantic hug I'm sending you all. Please pass this along to all the Homies so I know I reached them.

I could go on and on, but I'll keep it simple. This weekend reminded me why I chose this path in life. Not for profit, but for fulfillment. The feeling of sharing good energy with like-minded people, and the opportunity to feed souls by satisfying tastebuds and filling bellies.

Thank you so much for giving me the chance to share this experience with you all.

Thank you to my incredible wife. @susan_itsfine I would never have been able to do it without you.
