Up close and personal with this magnificent Red Tailed Hawk at Kensington Metropark. Such a unique experience! This hawk is not trained, she’s just very comfortable around people for whatever reason. God’s creation is incredible!

St. Therese has inspired countless people with her simplicity and her trust in Jesus. Her “Little Way” has proven to be a sure fire way to achieving greater intimacy with Jesus and greater levels of holiness. Today on her Feast Day, let us look to her example, emulating her absolute confidence in Jesus, and allow ourselves to be like her in placing all of our anxiety, struggles, sorrows, and hope in Jesus’ care. Let us, too, be like little flowers for Jesus, and trust that He will care for us and provide all that we need.

St. Therese, pray for us! 🙏

With summer coming to an end, I reflect on seasons and the beauty of growth and rebirth. We watch nature cycle through its phases, bloom, die, sleep, and bloom again. I see this in myself and it’s something I used to hate, but am beginning to love. Revival starts with letting go of the old self and embracing the new, and doing it again and again until we’ve reached our final destination. And grace makes it all possible. Thank you Jesus for seasons and for helping me bloom, die, and bloom again. ❤️‍🔥
