My insanely talented painting teacher Diana chose Waffles as the subject of her demo, and watching her work is genuinely a masterclass. Her painting is unreal, obviously, but thanks to her incredible teaching, I’m actually pretty pleased with my own. Which I did not see coming. by @craftlabatl

PSA to anyone who either is, was, or lives with a little girl. You’re welcome. You don’t need to thank me. Some heroes don’t wear capes. by @craftlabatl

i’ve bedazzled over a hundred pairs of shoes for people and charged a stupid amount of money to do it

not because it’s hard. because it takes forever. as you can see, i have done this in pajamas, in a face mask, and at hours no one should be awake.

so i packed up the tools, the prettiest shades, and the good sparkly stones (not the sad craft store ones) into a kit. it’s basically me tutoring you from your couch.

sneaker sparkle sets are live. starting at $32. link in bio.

you do the hours. i already did the thinking.

When one of your favorite people gets cast in one of your favorite musicals at one of your favorite theaters, sometimes you have to process your feelings with power tools.

I’ve known Beau since he was born and his mom @lindsayryoung since we were drinking Boone’s Farm at frat parties. Watching our kids grow up together and become these incredible performers has been pretty freaking special.

So naturally, I made him a ridiculously elaborate Les Misérables shadowbox. Because apparently that’s how I handle emotions now.

And while this particular project was inspired by Beau, the show is an absolute BANGER, and getting to watch so many people we love in this production has been an absolute gift. The cast is extraordinary, and I’m especially proud of all three kids.

If you’re in Atlanta and haven’t seen Les Mis at City Springs Theatre Company yet, GO. Catch it before it closes- only 7 shows left. ❤️

“Hope you like owls.”

If you’ve ordered a Mahjong Sparkle Set lately and found some random surprises in there, this is how I decide who gets what. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also didn’t know my weave was showing in the back. Good thing I’m a registered member of the #wedonotcare club and the back of my hair is not my business. Right @justbeingmelani ? by @craftlabatl
