Christmas cut-off dates are here 🎄✨

I know it still feels early, but if you’re already thinking about Christmas gifts, this is a handy one to save for later.

Australia Post has released their recommended Christmas lodgement dates, so I’ve worked backwards from those and included our usual processing time to give you the best chance of having your order arrive before Christmas.Orders placed after the cut-off will still be sent, but Christmas delivery can’t be guaranteed.

Save this post so you have the dates handy, and thank you so much for choosing to support small businesses this coming festive season 💜

Have you started doing your Christmas shopping? Let me know in the comments below.

I thought it was time to give you a little look at everything Craft MKR has grown into so far. ✨

What started as a small personalised sashes & gift boxes business back in 2019 has slowly grown into a collection of drinkware, gifts and little extras made for the moments that matter and the everyday ones in between.

You’ll find our dishwasher-safe and handmade Signature Can Cups, Insulated cups, celebration glassware, bookmarks, mini heart ring dishes, keyrings, charms and more. There’s something for the iced-coffee lovers, bookworms, brides, milestone birthdays and anyone who simply deserves a little treat. 💜

Most pieces are created or finished by me from my little home studio here in Perth, with plenty of care behind every one.

You can shop with us online via our website with Australia-wide shipping, or find our pieces in-store only @candco_perth Westfield Carousel and Westfield Innaloo.

Thank you for being here and for supporting this little business as it continues to grow. 💜

Have a little browse and let me know which part of the Craft MKR collection feels most like you 😊

💜Joan

Behind the scenes, Craft MKR is mostly just me. But I’m very lucky to have family who jump in whenever I need an extra pair of hands.

Hubby is always there when I ask for help (if the little one is not keeping him busy) 🤭 And while most of my family live overseas, whenever they come over for a visit, I’m so grateful that they’re happy to give a little bit of their time to help with the biz too.

So yes… apparently visiting me sometimes comes with an unofficial Craft MKR shift 🤭

And now that most of them are overseas again, I still feel their support in all the little ways too, whether it’s liking a post, leaving a comment, sending me a DM or simply continuing to cheer me on from afar. 🥹

Very grateful for all the ways they support this little business, even when they definitely didn’t apply for the job 😂

Sharing this one again today, October 15, as we prepare for the Wave of Light later this evening at 7pm 💜💜

These cups were created with gentle reminders for the days grief feels especially heavy, and this little making video still means a lot to me.

As we light our candles at 7pm, I hope these words can be a small reminder that the love we carry for the ones we’ve lost is always still there.

Forever loved, never forgotten. 💜💜🕯️

Making Cups With Me, Episode 4 👻📚

This one turned into a bit of a catch-up while I made our Halloween Bookstore cup.

The last couple of weeks have felt very stop-start over here, but that little overseas trip was actually such a good reset.

Getting to spend time with my family, laugh a lot and just be present for those few days was something I’ll cherish for a long time. I came back feeling so much more energised.

Of course, I really missed my boys too, so once I got home I made sure to spend some proper time with them as well, while slowly catching up on work and finding my way back into the usual rhythm of things.

There’s still plenty happening behind the scenes, but it feels good to be back making again, one cup at a time 🤭

Now tell me, what should we make for Episode 5? 👀 Halloween, floral, coffee or teacher-themed? Drop your pick in the comments below 🤭

Sometimes the same moment can look completely different depending on how you choose to see it.

The messy table, the late nights, the boxes everywhere, the slower days with my little one beside me… none of it is always easy, but there’s usually something in those moments worth holding onto too.

I think this season of life and business has been teaching me to notice both sides a little more. The tiring part, and the grateful part. The chaos, and the growth. The things that slow me down, and the things I know I’ll miss one day.

Not everything has to feel perfect to still be something good.

How are you choosing to see today?

🅰️ It’s a lot
🅱️ It’s still something good.

Some reminders are worth sharing again. 💜

I created these cup designs during a time when I needed these words myself. Reminders to be gentle with myself, to let myself feel everything, and to remember that love doesn’t disappear just because someone is no longer here.

A year later, these words still mean just as much.

Grief changes. Some days feel lighter, some days catch you completely off guard, and sometimes you simply learn how to carry the love alongside it.

These cups were originally created from my own experience with pregnancy loss, but the messages have always felt bigger than that too. They’re for anyone missing someone, carrying grief quietly, or simply needing a little reminder to give themselves some grace. 🤍

October is also Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month, and on October 15, families around the world take part in the Wave of Light.
A beautiful moment to remember the babies we carry in our hearts. Light a candle with us at 7pm.

Forever loved, never forgotten. 💜💜

Finally got a chance to put together a little September recap after being a bit more focused on my son these past few days.

Looking back, there were actually so many little things that happened this month, both in the business and in life. It felt so long for me 🤭but I’m glad I got to slow down a bit at the end of it and just be where I needed to be.

Very grateful for everyone who ordered, supported, visited the shops, liked or shared a post or simply kept following along. It all means more than you know. 💜

How was your September? Did you love it, or were you more than ready for October to start?
Let me know in the comments below. 😊
