WE’RE DOIN IT AGAIN 🧶🪩
Since the last Craft Rave, I have officially joined the DREAMTEAM aka my friendz Mia & Ali, pretty much out of… sheer enthusiasm?
(constantly texting them ideas until they invited me to hang?)

why ——-> Music is deeply important to me (I know, you know) but also I feel very strongly that social events aka *parties* should be
💎 _multifaceted_ 💎
and engage your senses with art in a variety of media and experiences, ideally in several directions at once! 😈

Y??? because more is more. why settle for 1 form of art when we can play and create and be mesmerized by performance????

🍑 I can create this style of event with our large scale @bestbuttcamp fundraiser parties, but here I have found a way to bring that joy for art and community out on the REGULAR through @mmmaitai ‘s beautiful, beautiful brainchild, @craftraveseattle 🪩

I hope you come hang with us on Sunday Nov 15! whether or not you already have a craft already 😃

Tix on sale at 10am today,
link in my bio for early birds! 🐥

PS If u have questions about what it’s like, DM me!

Before you confront anyone in your life, please consider the possibility that they are actually… a craft. 🧶👀

Swipe for several extremely scientific methods of determining whether your loved ones are, in fact, felting / crochet / embroidery / etc.

Then mark your calendar: Craft Rave early birds drop Friday at 10 AM for our November 15th Fall Edition. Come craft. Come dance. Become the craft. ✂️💃 by @craftraveseattle

Turns out the secret to finishing your WIP is putting four DJs next to it. (Okay, actually, several projects were abandoned for the dance floor. We regret nothing.)

HUGE love to @jacki.why @djcheeksmusic @harmonysoleil and @maria_stph for soundtracking Craft Rave #2. You took us from settling in with our projects, to head-bobbing-while-crafting to a full-on dance floor.

Craft Rave has always been about bringing two things we love together - making stuff and dancing to really good music - and these four absolutely understood the assignment.

One of our favorite things about these afternoons is watching the room slowly transform - heads down working on projects, then a little chair dancing, then "okay wait this song??" and suddenly there's a dance floor.

A room full of people making things, making friends, and occasionally abandoning their projects because the song was too good. Still kind of blown away by what you all brought to this one - the projects, the creativity, the kindness, the extremely good vibes.

Some of our favorite little moments from the afternoon, captured by @tcode.media .
