A closer look at the state of American craft spirits.

Today, ACSA and @parkstreetcompanies presented highlights from the 2026 Craft Spirits Data Project at the Annual Craft Spirits Economic briefing.

As of August 2026, the U.S. had 2,131 active craft distillers, a 6.6% decrease year-over-year. For the first time, distillery closures outpaced openings.
