mar 30th to apr 2nd, 2026: last week of placement :( got to finish off this amazing month with two more solo laminations. i have learnt so much this past month and am very grateful to have got to learn from many amazing technicians and clinicians at Freedom Prosthetics and Cardinal Orthotics. now back to school for the last month before graduation! by @craftssidosa
mar 23rd to 27th, 2026: worked on a TR diagnostic socket, made lots of progress on the BOA TH socket, then did an inner and outer lamination for a TT socket with a flexible liner inside. busy week and got to do lots of stuff solo which was nerve wracking but ended up going well :) next week is the last week of placement :( by @craftssidosa
mar 16th to 20th, 2026: got to work on some 3D printed diagnostic sockets including hand laminating fibreglass reinforcements which was super cool. got to solo laminate a TH with BOA cables and it turned out really well. also got to assist in sheet draping a TR check socket which i had never seen before so that was fun. busy week and got to learn a lot of new techniques. by @craftssidosa
mar 9th to 12th, 2026: first week of placement!! got to do some super cool stuff this week at my prosthetic placement. put together a myo arm and got to test out the electrodes that control the hand. also did a couple laminations (flip it around wicked witch😛) which went really well. ive learnt so much so far and cant wait to see what else comes next :) by @craftssidosa
feb 10th and 11th, 2026: finished my forearm lamination yesterday! spent today assembling my TH (95% complete at this point) and adding the posting for the rocker sole on my CROW. also worked on our joint KAFO and finished buffing the trimlines. overall very productive so im happy by @craftssidosa
feb 3rd and 4th, 2026: moulded both the posterior and anterior shells of my CROW and it turned out very well. shaped my TH foam and laminated that socket. i also foamed up the forearm section for my TH. then liz, seb, and i moulded our KAFO and it went amazingly (so many troubleshooting issues but we locked in). also, i need a tripod for my phone because half of the videos i took today my phone fell over so they are unusable 😐 by @craftssidosa
jan 27th and 28th, 2026: slow week cause i wrapped up this project set last week. this is my completed TF cause i forgot to take a pic last week. also worked on some metal bending (shoutout anna the goat) and i wanted to scream. moved on to the next project set starting off strong w a green TH by @craftssidosa
jan 20th and 21st, 2026: cut out my TF and finished the trimlines on the socket and the liner. moulded my SMO-AFO and i love the camo pattern (reaper buck is what its called). blasting through this project set rn :) by @craftssidosa
jan 13th and 14th, 2026: hope you didnt miss me too much while i was on winter break :) got right back into it this week starting with a blister drape for a TF liner. then i laminated over the liner, foamed up, attached my wood block, and shaped the foam. ended this week with a second lamination in this pretty pearlescent green/blue. i also molded my SMO for my AFO. busy busy week but got a lot done so yay by @craftssidosa
dec 3rd, 2025: finished my TR. quick vid of me breaking out my socket and assembling my (functional thank goodness) quick disconnect wrist. had to include a pic of the triceps cuff i sewed cause it look gorg. last pic is the fully assembled socket plus suspension harness. rundown of the process: lamination, foam, lamination, sewing, metal stuff, more sewing, riveting, crying, re-riveting, complete. #beasted by @craftssidosa
