The first Moonbeam Market is officially in the books!

We raised $882 from the event, to go towards the making of Moonbeam. It may only make a small mark in the pre production fundraising process, but every penny was made with love.

I'm proud to share that as of today, Moonbeam is $377 away from raising it's first $2,000. Want to help me reach this next goal? I'm currently collecting donations via venmo @Nola-Mentzer , but will soon have a specific link where you can send donations to if you prefer that.

Thank you to our guests who came to show your support and learn more about the project, and to @crossroadsgarwoodnj for housing the event.

To our vendors and talent, the event wouldn't have been what it was without each of your presence and creativity. Thank you for taking a chance on my small scale event, and for believing in me and my independent film.

Moonbeam is a screen play written by Nola Bunny, about an adopted teen runaway who struggles with the fear of being captured, while seeking refuge in the woods. Determined to survive on the edge of society, a whimsical adventure ensues in her pursuit of independence and longing to find a place where she belongs.

The screenplay won an award for best screen writing at the Rutherford Film Festival, where a live reading of the screenplay took place.

Now the time has come to raise money to get the screenplay off paper and onto the screen. Your support means the world to an artist who dares to bring her dreams to life.

The kitchen will be open at @crossroadsgarwoodnj , so come enjoy a meal, shop the vendors, and get carried away by the entertainment. by @craftykianj
