Pixel art looks so easy, right? ๐ŸŸฆโฌœ Just tiny squares, a grid, a few colors ๐ŸŽจโœจ and boomโ€ฆ a face appears ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’ซ But this reel is my honest little story behind that illusion ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿ’œ This Jungkook pixel art was not made in one day โณโŒ It took many days, many pauses, many restarts ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ’— Day one began with choosing the reference ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ’œ and breaking it into a grid, square by square, pixel by pixel ๐Ÿ”ฒ๐Ÿ”ฒ๐Ÿ”ฒ Day two was about structure ๐Ÿง โœจ where the eyes would sit ๐Ÿ‘€ where the face would balance ๐Ÿ™‚ where light would touch โœจ and where shadows would quietly stay ๐ŸŒซ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ญ Day three came with doubts ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ’” Erasing โœ๏ธโŒ correcting ๐Ÿ”„ redoing the same pixels again and again ๐Ÿ” because one wrong square can change an entire expression ๐Ÿ˜ถโžก๏ธ๐Ÿ˜”โžก๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š Day four was slow coloring ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ’œ carefully choosing shades ๐ŸŒˆ deciding which pixel speaks ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ and which one stays silent ๐Ÿค Day five was refinement โœจ tiny adjustments ๐Ÿ” details so small that most people may never notice ๐Ÿ‘€โ“ but my heart definitely would โค๏ธ Every step needed focus ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ Every pixel needed patience ๐Ÿซถ Some days I felt confident ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ some days I felt tired ๐Ÿ˜ด some days I questioned myself ๐Ÿ˜”โ“ But I kept going ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธโžก๏ธ because art is not about speed ๐ŸขโŒ It is about commitment โค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ Pixel art teaches you so much ๐Ÿ“šโœจ It teaches patience ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ It teaches control ๐ŸŽฏ It teaches that even limitations can create beauty ๐ŸŒธ That emotions can live inside the smallest squares ๐Ÿ’ž That one tiny pixel can carry feeling if placed with intention ๐Ÿ’ซ This reel shows the full journey ๐ŸŽฅโœจ step by step ๐Ÿชœ from an empty grid โฌœ to a finished portrait ๐Ÿ’œ Not to prove that pixel art is easy โŒ but to show that with time โณ patience ๐Ÿค and love ๐Ÿ’– even the most detailed art becomes possible ๐ŸŒˆโœจ This Jungkook pixel art holds my time โฐ my focus ๐Ÿง  my mistakes โŒ my corrections ๐Ÿ”„ and my persistence ๐Ÿ”ฅ Tiny pixels ๐ŸŸฆ many days ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ one heart fully invested โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ If this inspires even one person to slow down ๐Ÿซถ trust their process ๐ŸŒฑ and keep creating ๐ŸŽจโœจ then every single pixel was worth it ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ’œ taken in India by @craftymaniac_

Iridescent colours, soft oil pastels, and a little piece of my favourite muse โœจ๐Ÿ’œ @mnijungkook Tried to capture him not just as a portrait, but as a whole mood. Oil pastels really made this one glow differently. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป๐ŸŽจ Oil pastels @deli_global_official @deli_india_official taken in India by @craftymaniac_

Attempt #2 with oil pastels! ๐ŸŽจ My very first try was an absolute disaster, so jumping straight into drawing Jungkookโ€™s hand with an iridescent, glowing vibe felt like a huge risk. I was honestly so skeptical about how it would turn out, but seeing it come together actually surprised me... I think it turned out pretty well! Still plenty of room to grow, but practice is the only way forward. โœจ๐Ÿ’œ โ€‹What do you think of this color palette? Happy birthday Jimin! @j.m . . To celebrate, I wanted to match your dynamic energy with some equally vibrant colors in this gouache portrait. The bold splashes of neon pink and bright blue against the dark background perfectly capture your striking stage presence and unmistakable artistry. Gouache paints by @flashpaints_official . . Losing myself in the pages of a good book on a quiet afternoon... My ultimate definition of comfort. This piece is my official entry for the Pastelmat & Pastelgrain International Contest hosted by @clairefontaine_finearts @pastelmat_clairefontaine When I saw the theme was "Cozy Moments," I immediately thought of this peaceful, dreamy scene. Capturing the gentle light, the braided hair, and the quiet joy of a reading nook was such a wonderful process. #PastelmatPastelgrainContest26 #CozyMoments #PastelArt #Clairefontaine #PortraitDrawing ArtistOnInstagram by @craftymaniac_
