LIVING ARCHITECTURES — @beasarrias

There is a quiet beauty in Bea Sarrias’ paintings: spaces become memories, light becomes atmosphere, and architecture becomes a place to feel rather than simply to observe.

In Living Architectures, Sarrias explores the relationship between architecture, light and human presence, transforming interiors and iconic modernist buildings into suspended, contemplative moments.

Her paintings capture the poetry of everyday spaces — the warmth of a wall touched by sunlight, the rhythm of a façade, the silence of an empty room. Architecture is never merely represented; it is experienced.

With a refined palette, precise compositions and an extraordinary sensitivity to light, Sarrias creates works that invite us to slow down and look again.

BEA SARRIAS — LIVING ARCHITECTURE
Opening Saturday 12 September (11/7 pm) and Sunday 13 September (11/5 pm)

CRAG Gallery is pleased to announce Living Architecture, a solo exhibition by Spanish artist @beasarrias

Through painting, Sarrias explores the relationship between architecture, light and memory, transforming spaces into suspended, silent and deeply evocative places.

Her paintings portray interiors, buildings and modernist landscapes through a refined and essential language, focusing not simply on the architecture itself, but on its emotional dimension: the memory of a place, the light moving through it, and the atmosphere that brings it to life.

The exhibition will be on view until the 17th of October.

Crag Gallery is the result of a daily practice built on dialogue, listening and shared decisions.

In this image we are mother and daughter, but also directors: two perspectives in conversation, weaving together experience and research, continuity and transformation.

For ten years to now (yes!it’s our anniversary…with a moment of celebration to come!) we have carried this path forward with the same passion and commitment to research, shaping over time a project that grows through relationships, artworks, and ideas.

Directing a gallery is an ongoing act of care, toward artists, practices, and the people who make it possible.

To everyone who has shared and continues to share this journey with us, our sincere thanks.

At CRAG Gallery, we have always chosen to invest our time in artists, ideas, and projects that resonate deeply with us, building long-term relationships founded on trust, curiosity, and conviction rather than following the latest market direction.

Every exhibition has been the result of careful listening, genuine passion, and a commitment to presenting voices that deserve to be seen and understood.

This is the first of three interview excerpts reflecting on our journey after ten years—on what drives our work, what continues to inspire us, and why we have remained faithful to our vision, always placing passion, research, and authenticity at the heart of everything we do.

Part Two of our story.

In this second video, we share one of the core principles behind CRAG Gallery: identifying and supporting emerging artists whose practices stand out for their authenticity, vision, and long-term potential.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with artists at the beginning of their careers, many of whom have since gone on to exhibit internationally, receive institutional recognition, and become part of important public and private collections.

We believe a gallery’s role extends beyond exhibiting artworks. It is about building lasting relationships, nurturing talent, and supporting artists as their careers evolve.

This commitment to research and long-term collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.

This is the third and final video celebrating CRAG’s first ten years.

Above all, CRAG is about people: everyone who has walked through our doors, returned over the years, supported us, and become part of our journey.

One of the things we cherish most is the international community that has grown around the gallery, bringing together different cultures, perspectives, and friendships through contemporary art.

Thank you for being part of CRAG. These ten years would not have been the same without you.

✨ Domenica 20 settembre 2026 si conclude la mostra collettiva “Tracciando il sentiero. Arte, ambiente e visioni del futuro”, parte della rassegna “Dialoghi e altri sguardi”.

➡ In occasione del finissage, alle ore 11.00, vi aspettiamo presso gli spazi espositivi di Fondazione Garuzzo alla Castiglia di Saluzzo per una visita guidata alla mostra, accompagnata dall’incontro con alcuni artisti delle opere esposte.

👀 Un’ultima occasione per attraversare il percorso della mostra, approfondirne i temi e dialogare direttamente con gli artisti.

L’evento sarà gratuito e aperto a tutti. Non è necessaria la prenotazione.

L’innovazione nasce quando mondi diversi iniziano a parlarsi.

È da questa convinzione che è nata “Arte e Impresa. Un dialogo attuale”, la tavola rotonda promossa da Trigenia nell’ambito della mostra “Tracciando il sentiero. Arte, ambiente e visioni del futuro”, realizzata dalla @fondazione_garuzzo e @cragallery presso la Castiglia di Saluzzo.

Perché l’arte non ispira solo creatività: cambia il modo di osservare, di decidere, di immaginare il futuro. E le imprese che sanno guardare oltre sono quelle che lasciano il segno.

Grazie a Massimo Catania, @pierluigivaccaneo , @nicolasballario , @robertaceretto , @alegirasempre , @charliephoenix e Carlo Massironi, con la moderazione di @elisabetta_chiono , per aver condiviso idee, esperienze e visioni.

E grazie a tutti coloro che hanno partecipato, rendendo questo confronto vivo e autentico.

In Trigenia crediamo che il futuro non si costruisca solo con la tecnologia o con i numeri. Si costruisce con le idee, con il coraggio di contaminarsi e con la capacità di trasformare la cultura in una leva di crescita per il territorio, per le persone e per le imprese.

Here is a first selection of images of “Tracing the Path” a project that, for Crag Gallery, represents far more than an exhibition.

It is the evolution of a shared journey with @fondazione_garuzzo and @trigenia_ , which over the years has placed at its core the dialogue between contemporary art, sustainability, and new visions of the present.

The exhibition brings together artists from different editions of the Trigenia Award, along with other selected artists, creating an open exchange between languages and practices that question how we inhabit the world today.

A project that strengthens the connection between business and culture, and which for us means continuing to invest in artistic research and in new generations.
