POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Through everything I’ve been through over the past nine months, seeing clarity, confidence, and the next phase of my life come together in one photograph is truly significant to me.

Tomorrow, I’d love your help bringing this book into the world. You can pick up a copy, share a photograph with it, tell someone what it meant to you, or leave an honest Amazon review after reading it. Every one of those actions helps this message reach someone who may need it right now.

The greatest gift this photograph gave me wasn’t seeing the book.

It was recognizing the man looking back at me.

You’ll find the Amazon link in my bio.

Write a future you’re excited to live. 👊🏻 by @craig.zuber

It’s real. It’s in my hands.
Now it can be in yours.

The 10-Year Letter was never really about writing a book.

It was about helping people stop living by default and start living with intention.

For years, this message lived in conversations, coaching sessions, workshops, and quiet moments where people finally stopped long enough to ask themselves what kind of life they truly wanted to build.

Now it exists in a form you can hold onto.

The official release date is August 4, 2026.
But pre-orders are now open at the link in my bio.

I can’t wait for you to experience this process for yourself.

What if one experience could change the way someone sees the rest of their life? 🧡

That's the heart behind The 10-Year Letter. And at the 2026 STX Summit in Galveston, Texas, we were reminded once again why this mission matters so much. ✨

It's about helping people rediscover their dreams, reconnect with what truly matters, and believe in a future they're excited to wake up to.

And we're just getting started! Because the greatest gift we can give someone is a reason to look forward to tomorrow. 🧡

My friend and colleague Liz Landry sent me an advance reader copy of From Operator to Owner a couple of weeks ago. Wanted to dive in before sharing it with you!

I’ve been around the block a few times… and have been the roadblock quite a few times myself. I see it with high-performing business owners I coach, too. Liz shows you how to help your people think, decide, and lead so you have more freedom to live.

Proud of you, Liz! It launches October 20. Buy it! by @craig.zuber

After the very first 10-Year Letter keynote on Friday, my bride asked why I was crying the way I was.

There were many reasons, but my answer was simple.

The ten-year-older version of me was so grateful I hadn’t given up on the battle I’m fighting today.

It was my first public event since surgery. Just a couple of months ago, I expected to deliver that keynote. Instead, I sat beside my bride and watched my friend Jen Davis bring this work to life through her own heart and stories.

All week, I’d been thinking about one question: What am I uniquely here to create, teach, or give away?

Friday helped me see part of my answer.

Two years ago, I was there when Craig Zuber’s vision for The 10-Year Letter was still taking shape. Today, I had the joy of celebrating with him at his book signing. 📖✨

Watching that vision become a reality and being there for both moments made today even more special.

Congratulations, Craig! What an inspiring journey to witness. by @craig.zuber

This week, two boys ages 12 and 14 sent me their 10-Year Letters. They are already asking questions many of us don’t stop to ask until much later in life, if ever.

It made me answer one of my own: If I were building my life again from exactly where I am today, what would I choose?

After thinking about it all week, I realized I would choose a lot of what I already have. I’d just choose it sooner, with less hesitation and more intention.

Maybe building your life again doesn’t mean starting over. Maybe it means choosing again.

I knew life was short. I knew time mattered. I knew my health mattered. I knew the people I love mattered more than almost anything else. But knowing something and living it are two completely different things. Last week, a good friend asked me a question that stayed with me. I decided to spend the next six weeks walking with one question each week and seeing where it takes me.

This was the first: What do I know now that I could not have known before all of this happened?

My answer surprised me. And it left me with a question for you too.

What do you know today that you once only thought you knew?

I wrote about it in this week’s letter, I Knew It Before. Now I Know It.

Read it here: https://www.craigzuber.com/post/i-knew-it-before-now-i-know-it

I’d love to hear your answer in the comments. 👊🏻❤️ by @craig.zuber

Last Wednesday, about 60 business leaders boarded a riverboat on the Ohio River and spent the next six and a half hours thinking, writing and deciding where they wanted their lives to go over the next ten years.

They talked about family, faith, purpose, relationships, who they wanted to become and what they wanted their lives to mean. Then they started reading their letters out loud.

At the end of the day, someone in the room noticed something I haven’t stopped thinking about.

“All of these letters we heard and no one mentioned their business.”

A room full of business leaders. And no one mentioned their business.

I wrote about what happened on that boat, what I think it tells us about the lives we’re building, and why maybe we should start with the life before we set the goals. 🙂

It was never about every day. It was about one day at a time.

I’m 649 days and 889 miles into 1MPD. One mile minimum. Outside. No earbuds. No paying it forward. Just one promise, one day at a time.

Then surgery stopped me at 631 consecutive days. For 15 days, I physically couldn’t do my mile, so my tribe did something I’ll never forget. They carried it for me. They called it “2 for Zube.” Their mile, and mine.

Today, there are 149 people in our 1MPD group, and it’s growing daily. What started as movement became medicine. And now it’s becoming a movement.

I wrote this week’s letter about what 889 miles have taught me about consistency, accountability, white space, community, and why I’ll never call this an “every day” commitment.

The result may become every day. The mindset is always one day at a time.

If it makes you think of someone, share it with them. Maybe even ask them to do a mile with you. 👊🏻❤️ by @craig.zuber

Friday night looked a little different at our house this week. My bride and I stayed home and painted. She painted wildflowers. I attempted my first turtle. 😂 Somewhere in the quiet, I started thinking about words. I’ve never been someone who uses a lot of them, but physically not being able to speak has me thinking a lot about which ones are actually worth saying. This week’s letter is about what I’m learning in the silence, and one pretty simple question I can’t stop thinking about.

What’s worth saying? I’d love to know your answer. ❤️

What are you preparing for?

I asked someone that question years ago. After everything that’s happened over the last few weeks, I’ve found myself asking it again, only this time the question is for me.

Maybe those 631 consecutive days, the marathons, the 70.3 Ironman, the Murph Challenges, the years of coaching, writing, leading, failing, rebuilding, trusting and becoming were preparing me for something I could never have seen coming.

I don’t know. Maybe that’s the point.

You don’t prepare by knowing what’s coming. You prepare by becoming.
