Happy birthday to the running machine queen of the Avera household!👸

Note to future selves: she is currently running a half marathon on her own “for fun” and this says a lot about her extremely disciplined winner’s mentality and the way she’s built. Different to say the least, and in the best way possible.🔥

The HYROX champ and also the family MVP. No one does life quite like you do, Rosie, and me and the girlie pops are beyond lucky to have you be the foundation of our lives!

Happy birthday soulmate! ❤️ @roseeavera by @craigavera

8 YEARS OF CALI! 🎉☕️💙

Eight years ago, the windows of our tiny but mighty shop in Hollywood, FL opened for the very first time. We started serving up drinks, smiles & good vibes, and we haven’t looked back since. 🌴⚡️

20 shops, 500+ Crew Members, and millions of drinks later, we’ve learned, grown, and evolved - while staying true to our roots and the core values we’ve believed in since day one. 💯

We want to celebrate the most important part of Cali - YOU! Thank you for showing up, growing with us, and letting us be an impactful and authentic part of your day. 🫶 by @craigavera

One of the best parts about being an entrepreneur is the freedom to create awesome things with people you love.

After finalizing our new hot sauce, Cali Heat ❤️‍🔥, I was up one night with Halo and came up with a jingle I couldn’t get out of my head… 🎶A little spicy😈, a little sweet😇, you get the best of both worlds with Cali Heat!

I text it to Craig immediately so I wouldn’t forget, and I rallied all of our incredible Cali staff to help me bring this dream I had to life! 😍

Original vocals by @connor.monnn , choreography by @jaileen.delacruz and @arleen.delacruzz , and all the amazing vibes by our Cali Crew made this even more epic than I imagined!

It didn’t take much convincing to get Craig to lip sync the words, he’s obviously a natural and absolutely killed it 🤭💯!!

Finally, the best in the biz, @kalanifilms, filmed and edited it all to really take it over the top 🤩!

Don’t miss out on this hot sauce, it’s literally INCREDIBLE, and will be dropping at all @calicoffee locations on 5/5! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 by @craigavera

Would I recommend doing 3 HYROX races in 10 days including 2 in the same 5 hour window? I guess it just depends how sick I think my friends are.😈

Either way, I did it and had an absolute blast. Solo is an awesome self-test and mental/physical grind. Much more taxing and I love the hurt. No one to rely on or blame but yourself and I eat that up. But doubles is so much more fun.

@roseeavera and I did not end up accepting our invitation to World’s in June. Life is just a bit too crazy right now for us to fully commit, although we are honored to have qualified in our first-ever race. We are determined to qualify again next season and hit it harder than ever. Plus I need to get faster to keep up with her anyway 😂 More @tropicalruncrew and @per4orm sessions it is then.🔥Thank you to everyone who came to cheer, support, photograph, and spend the day chasing us around the Miami Convention Center. You’re all extremely appreciated 🙏

2026 HYROX Miami - Mens Solo Open:

This is absolutely wild, but @roseeavera and I did our first ever HYROX doubles race together last week and took 1st place in our age group, punching our ticket to the World Championships in June… Stockholm, here we come! 🥇🇸🇪 @hyroxamerica @hyroxworld

We signed up on a whim just a couple months before the event, flew into Houston the morning of, raced that evening, made an obligatory trip to In-N-Out, and flew back home the next morning (nearly got stranded, but a saint from SWA saved our asses; shoutout Cheryl!). It all happened in about 30 hours. Bang.💥

Let’s talk about my wife.❤️
Rose has been SuperMom for 2+ years and in the past 6 months, literally hasn’t slept more than 4 hours straight since we had Halo. Still, she somehow manages to run our household, raise our kids, be a boss of a co-CEO, a top class wifey, and never misses a workout (even if it’s a 6-mile treadmill run at 5am). It’s honestly UNREAL how much composure and poise she has and it blows my mind daily. Her character and discipline are what champions are made of and I guarantee she could sell her blood to a science lab for billions of dollars. She’s a straight up anomaly and I have a hunch she was born in a petri dish on athlete island somewhere. 🏝️

Live life without limits.💯
When you own/run a company and have kids, you do what you can with the time you have. Rose and I have the same main goals each morning: A) grow Cali Coffee into the best company we can build, and B) be the best parents we can possibly be. And while we no longer have the time to train 4 hours a day like the LA days, you can always find and create time; you just gotta look between the lines and find the gaps. But it’s far easier to make excuses than to put in the work, that’s for sure.

Shoutout to all the coaches at @per4orm & @tropicalruncrew for the support and the push during our training and making me suck less at running! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2026 HYROX Houston:
1st place / 437 teams - age group🥇
9th place / 2085 teams - overall 🏆 taken in Houston, Texas by @craigavera
