Spartan 117 aka John
When I first played the original Halo game 25 years ago on my uncles original Xbox, I was a becoming a fan and didn’t even know it, then from then everytime a halo game came out I had to have it and see where the story would take me as a player looking through John’s eyes.
Like I said on The Elite, when I found out I could get 75 mm figures 3D printed I didn’t hesitate, so I searched Esty to find it. I knew I didn’t want him just standing up, I wanted him in a pose of some kind. Luckily I could choose what I wanted.
@slyzarboprinting on Etsy gave me a choice of different poses, I picked this one because to me it looked cool.
Spartan 117 was painted using slap chop method the he was painted using @thearmypainter speedpaints 2.0

I’ve always been a fan of Halo, Always wanted to paint figures from the games. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy painting miniatures, but when I found out I could get them in 75mm size i jumped straight onto the internet.
Which bought me to Etsy and @slyzarboprinting
The elite was my second purchase after i bought a Master Chief figure in the same size (which is my next one to paint) The print quality was fantastic and only had a few bits of supports to break off, which is okay with me as I like to do a once or twice over before priming and painting.
As per usual for me now I used the slap chop method and @thearmypainter speedpaints 2.0 to paint the figure.
Very happy with the end results, onto the next one #halo #paintingfigures by @craigmoore1990

Thorin Oakenshield son of Thrain,Son of Thror.
King under the mountain.
When the Movie first came out Thorin was my favourite character. When @warhammerofficial released the unexpected journey boxset, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Unfortunately all the miniatures spent many years in a case unpainted.
Now many years later I’ve finally started.
Thorin was painted using slap-chop method and @thearmypainter speedpaints 2.0

When Will Byers went missing, Joyce Byers didn’t give up. In the end she was able to communicate with him via the Christmas lights whilst Will was trapped in the Upside Down. This miniature depicts her doing just that.
This Miniature is from @cmongames Stranger Things Upside Down board game.
Using Slap-chop method and @thearmypainter speedpaints.

Decided that if I was going to repaint miniatures that I painted before that I would revisit Police Chief Jim Hopper from @cmongames Stranger Things The Upside Down Board game. Using the Slap-chop method and @thearmypainter Speed paints.
2nd pic is the original paint job I done a few years ago.
Happy with the finished version. #strangerthings #boardgameminiatures #paintingminiatures by @craigmoore1990

Daredevil and Luke Cage from Marvel Crisis Protocol The Defenders Affiliation boxset. Slapcop Method used with help of @thearmypainter Speedpaints.
When painting Daredevil’s Billy clubs it snapped whilst trying to dry brush the cable. Too flimsy, but was able to superglue back on.
Very happy with how Luke Cage turned out, the yellow worked out really great for his T-shirt.
Next up is going to be Iron Fist Danny Rand, which will complete the Heroes for Hire and the Third Member of The Defenders.

Radagast The Brown and Gandalf The Grey from The Hobbit SBG box. Where the Radagast miniature was included as a special edition miniature (correct me if I’m wrong) Been putting it off for many years painting these miniatures due to my hatred of being bad at highlighting. But since purchasing speedpaints I’m happier with results that come out in the final version,I know they haven’t been based yet.

Since I decided to repaint other miniatures from the other tabletop games, I thought to myself, why don’t I repaint Legolas Greenleaf from The hobbit. I was never really happy with the first paint job I done, so I’m glad I got to revisit it and do a better job with the help of slap-chop and speedpaints.
Upon stripping the original paint from the miniature, one of the blades snapped off and disappeared(most likely down the sink.) So I was left with a dilemma of what to do now. (Normally I would lose my temper and probably chuck it in the bin) but I didn’t, I tidied the area around where it would of been and made it look like a closed fist instead. Happy with end result, On to tauriel next.
