Hubby @aaronschmeron got me this sweeeeet headset for my bday. Oh, and I’ve started flight training. I haven’t learned how to speak on the radio yet but these baby’s have Bluetooth so be prepared for some content in the skies… eventually… once I’m certain of keeping it straight and level.

I can’t believe how far behind I am in fundraising!!! Should have followed @treedon and stated this process weeks ago!

Spring means the annual Hill Country Ride for AIDS is here! I will be riding (or attempting to ride) 45 miles through Hill Country to raise funds for multiple organizations supporting LGBTQ services from mental health to life-saving drugs.

With national funding potentially being removed for HIV care and prevention, rides and fundraisers like this become even more critical.

Please take a moment to donate what you can. Every bit helps.

I’ll be sending reminders in stories most days this week because I have a very steep training hill to climb in a very short period of time.

Favorites from the museum in Norfolk. I was REALLY surprised at the quality and variety of exhibits. This was close many of the museums in DC and it was free!

There was a chandelier of mini barometers that I should have take a picture of but I didn’t. Each glass globe about the size of a pool ball (and there were at least 200 if not 300) had little spinners inside that moved according to temperature. So the ones hit by sunlight were going a mile a minute but the others were stationary. It was the coolest interactive sculpture I’ve seen in a while. Or maybe I just like that art and science made a baby.

2025 year recap. Made it though. Hit 40. Got more irrational aches in weird places so it seems like all that advice I had been given is finally catching up! It’s funny how the moments passed without really realizing that those would be the moments that defined the year. In hindsight I think I would have liked to been less impacted by the stresses of the year and allowed more opportunities for these kinds of moments that matter. Goals for next year! by @craigorysouza
