Does anyone else always have an original character stuck in their head??

Turning it into a 3D model *used* to be the hard part, because I made a course where you can make a simple low poly character in only a couple of evenings 🎃

Topology issues? Here are some fixes 😎

🔹 Duplicate Vertices: Merge by Distance (M)

⬟ N-gons: delete edges or use knife, find using “Select by Trait” > “Faces by Sides”

🙃 Inverted Normals: Recalculate Outside (Shift + M)

🦴 Bones: Check bone axis + add edge loops to bends by @crashsune

Make walk cycles a walk in the park with these 4 poses: 🏃‍♀️

1️⃣ CONTACT: Both feet at the ground.

2️⃣ DOWN: Weight to the front foot, back foot lifts up.

3️⃣ PASSING: Back leg moves, front leg stays.

4️⃣ UP: Moving leg goes back to the floor again!

Add in-betweens, mirror the animation for the other leg and voila! ✨

The sale for my Low-Poly Character Course ends 🚨today🚨

But I just wanted to say…

I DO realize learning 3D can be overwhelming (<///<)

So here is some advice: try doing just one hour a day for a week.

That’s honestly more than enough to make a finished character following the low poly course.
