And decided to terminate my art account over the 100s of 1000s of more than questionable accounts that have been squatting on the site (and across Meta’s) for literal decades. Let’s do 1 last fun little recap, shall we? -Permitting disguised exploitation content, while automatically suspending artists who post nude art (“Our AI has determined that Caravaggio is a registered sex offender, but that creepy kid modeling page with 1m followers? Perfectly compliant!” )✅ -Capitalize on Myanmar, Ethiopia, and Palestine Genocides (“We don’t receive cash from these territories anyway” ✅) -User recruitment, including minors, by drug lords and street gangs (“Kids gotta make a living too, right?” ✅) -Approved Guns ads (“AI bots won’t detect any anomalies here, despite our TOS” ✅) -AI generated content capitalization despite laws and copyright claims (“Copyright holders and laws failed to provide enough plagiarism evidence to us, so here’s a blue checkmark for them” ✅) At the time being: Consider this less of a Return and more of a I forgot to turn off the light. I have 0 urgency to feed this algorithmic beast.
