Well another harvest is well underway! (Actually it might be almost done?! ) A condensed one! It’s going to be a great vintage, and always one to remember when you’ve got baby#2 on the way in less than 2 months! Sometimes harvest makes you want to sleep under the table, sometimes it makes you want to dance. I’ll miss it next year, but a new season awaits! ❤️🍷 by @crawfishk

It’s that time of year! 🍇
This long weekend was a time to spend at home, enjoying a great wine (@16milecellar ), visiting friends and animals and eating as many tomatoes as possible. It’s the calm before the storm of harvest @leclosjordanne. The weekend is peppered with a bit of work, sampling vineyards and last minute equipment checks. I drive around the Niagara Escarpent thinking about the summer, my amazing girl, and about the long awaited cool air around the vineyards. It’s nerves and excitement at the same time, wondering who of my friends in the wine biz are doing and feeling the same. Happy Harvest everyone! by @crawfishk

👋🏼Bye vintage 2021, you will not be missed!

The past 3 years I’ve worked seasonally @hiddenbench . This is one of the most difficult harvests I’ve ever done, with record rainfalls, bad weather, pest pressure, and record amounts of fruit. All that on top of finishing up harvest at 7 months pregnant 😅. But I still love showing up at this beautiful place everyday. taken in Hidden Bench Estate Winery by @crawfishk
