🏜️ DELICATE ARCH 2026 🏜️

This was a new first. Not only my first time at Arches National Park, my first time at any National Park 🏞️

Despite the boiling heat, and running out of water, we made the strenuous hike to Delicate Arch🌵

It was worth every insufferable step

If you plan on hiking to Delicate Arch, please don’t follow our example and run out of water in one of your packs, heat stroke is serious! And always remember…

Leave no trace, including foot prints! Throughout the park there are signs about the biological LIVING SOIL that is the foundation for the whole park and all of its flora and fauna. STAY ON THE MARKED TRAILS AS TO NOT DESTROY THE SOIL👣

🌅 DOUBLE ARCH 2026 🌅

The Double Arch can be seen from the road, but there’s nothing like getting up close and personal with the monstrosity. 👾

The arch stands at 112 feet tall, making it Arches Nationals tallest and most daunting natural structure 🏜️

You can stand at the bottom and take in the views from there, but I decided to take the scramble up to a pocket in the arch to sit down and watch the sunset. 🧗‍♀️

I needed my hands, and didn’t have pockets, so I didn’t bring my phone, but when I say it was the most captivating sunset I’ve seen yet, just trust me on it 🌄

Remember, leave no trace also means leave things better than you found it 🚯

🏜️ CANYON LANDS + DEAD HORSE POINT 🏜️

The Island in the Sky District of Canyon lands was wonderful, and I will be going back at some point in my life to visit one of the most remote places in the world, The Maze District

We didn’t get to do too much while here because the smoke from the Babylon Fire in San Juan was just too intense, but these were my two favorite spots
