My parents first took me to @924gilmanstreet in the 6th grade. I had been a massive fan of Green Day, rancid, op ivy since elementary school and it was my first time there, no show just standing outside soaking it in. In early high school @k00lranchd0rit0 took me to see Angry Samoans for my very first Gilman show. I still have flash backs of running in that circle pit and the feeling of it’s where I belonged. It’s the place I discovered Joyce Manor, the place that means so much to the East Bay and so many people around the world.

To have a place like this where music, art, community can thrive after all of these years is truly incredible.

@bayareapartyppl (Just Friends) the band I started in my mom’s garage had the privilege of headlining and selling out last year. We didn’t even intend to make this record it was more of a happy accident thanks to Gilman and @martita__bonita . So please spin that shit, share it, hate, love it whatever you do. I made something with my friends & family that means the world to me. Thanks for reading happy friday 🤗🤗🤗🤗 taken in 924 Gilman by @crazy4bagels
