My son got married yesterday. Some of my favorite moments included the way he looked at his bride. There was such adoration and love in his eyes, and rightfully so. Happy Birthday to my sweet mom—my best friend, my biggest encourager, and quite possibly the only person who can laugh at herself harder than anyone else in the room. 😊

Mom, your joy is contagious. You find reasons to smile in the simplest moments, and you remind all of us that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. Your faith in Jesus shines through everything you do, and it’s been one of the greatest gifts in my life to watch and learn from you.

Thank you for being the kind of mom who is full of grace, full of laughter, and never takes herself too seriously—but always takes loving others seriously. You make life lighter, brighter, and a whole lot more fun.
