An absolute dream to have @crazycousinz_ remix Last Day of Summer. I love how he’s totally flipped it into something more sultry with that classic iconic sound we all love him for, it’s out now, enjoy! ☀️ by @crazycousinz_

IS CRAZY COUSINZ THE KING OF UK FUNKY?

Emerging during the late-2000s explosion of funky house, UK funky brought the swing of UK garage, percussion heavy rhythms, soulful house grooves + often female-led vocals together

For a moment, UK funky was everywhere + Crazy Cousinz remix of Kyla’s “Do You Mind” became one of the most recognisable tracks to emerge from the genre

It was even sampled by Drake for “One Dance” which was one of the biggest records of the 2010’s

He plays at the Refuge in Manchester tomorrow (26th September) for Ghosts of Garage

Literally have no words for what went down last Friday.

My debut at @allpointseastuk @rec.ess was a madness! Thank you all for catching me and @mc_versatile playing.

Also this track has been doing damage in my sets😮‍💨🔥

CRAZY COUSINZ & FRIENDS was a movie 💥

Thank you to the 2,000+ ravers came tru for my biggest show I’ve curated so far.

Was so sick to put together a lineup of artists who’ve inspired me throughout my career. Seeing everyone locked in, singing, dancing and catching vibes from start to finish is something I’ll never forget.

Big up @donaeo @djsupad @cold_steps @mc_versatile @luckandneatofficial @wilfy.d @scottyinside @graciouskisay for making it a special one!

Thank you to everyone who came down to Crazy Cousinz & Friends yesterday. ❤️

I’m still buzzing and kinda overwhelmed with all the love and support! Was sick to see so many people just enjoying the music and vibes. That’s what it’s always been about for me.

No egos. No bad vibes. Just good music and good people.

Over 2,000 of you came through to @eutopiawhs and from start to finish the energy was unreal. Massive thank you to all the artists who helped make it such a special day 🔥 @donaeo @luckandneatofficial @djsupad @mcversatile @cold_steps @wilfy.d @scottyinside @graciouskisay

I’m actually still processing what happened. So grateful, so buzzing… and this is only the beginning.

Watch this space for the next one. 👀🔥 by @crazycousinz_
