Crazy Monk NBD fs flip fakie 5-0.....1993🥷☸️♾️𓋹At legendary Seattle sk8 spot METRO LEDGEIf you look in the background at the beginning of this clip you can see Frank Hirata @frank_lucky73 lurking‼️I had to battle for this trick. Finally stuck it!I grew up in Tacoma Washington, near Seattle. Coming from a home where we were not wealthy, I wore a lot of clothes from thrift stores, second hand clothing stores; and this was a big part of youth culture in Tacoma & Seattle in the early 1990's. So, When I moved to Cali I didn't really dress like a lot of the other sponsored skaters, and I was sponsored by Foundation, I remember one of the other team members would even wear my clothing cuz it was so weird & dope and different 😆When this clip was filmed, I was already living in California, but somehow we ended up skating in Seattle this time. The shirt I'm wearing in this clip is a classic thrift store score, a long sleeve thin fabric, striped sweater with a collar, possibly an original 1970's garment, that I probably got for 50 cents; today it would sell for maybe 500$❓️So many good memories and stories ‼️😆Sending Love to the Universe ♾️🥷🥷𓋹 by @crazymonk_streetknowledge

RIP MARC JOHNSON‼️‼️❤️ we Love you Forever❤️🥷🥷♾️𓋹Here are 2 clips at the San Diego city College handrail. 2 clips of the same trick‼️🤯One clip is Marc Johnson from the video 7 steps to Heaven. The next clip is me from the Toy Machine Welcome to Hell video's friend's section.The Trick: 360 flip lipslide down a hand rail. 2 different sk8ers, same spot , same trick. I look up to Marc as he was such a great talented and skilled sk8er, a Sifu, a Sensei, an artist, a Master of the Street Kung Fu & he was a special person with a beautiful mind. I never got to know him personally, but I sk8ed with him at multiple competitions over the years. It's fun to watch 2 different sk8ers with different styles doing the same trick. I did this trick around 1995. As far as I knew at the time, I thought this trick had never been done at this spot & honestly now, I don't know who did this trick first at this spot, was it me or Marc? To me it doesn't matter at all.This was a great day. I've been sober, no drugs or alcohol, since 2008. But back then I was a big time weed smoker. I showed up to the spot with a blunt & some Mexican weed FULL of seeds😆I rolled a huge blunt, smoked it to the dome🔥My friend Tim was there & he filmed me. I was high af & set about to becoming on with the Universe like a Jedi. I battled it out with the handrail and won the battle & stuck a clean 360 flip lip. A great memory ❤️♾️My eternal Love and respect to my Sensei Sifu Marc Johnson; I know he is sk8ing in Heaven now with the Gods....Thank you to everyone out there, much Love𓋹 by @crazymonk_streetknowledge

CRAZY MONK Ollie over Oscar the Grouch's house without permission‼️ I shot this photo today, this is my 1st sk8 photo I have shot in 22 years, my 1st since quitting all my sponsors & disappearing from the commercial sk8 industry in 2004. Included in this post are 2 recent sk8 clips at the same spot, the hip at Seattle Center Sk8 plaza. I'm 50 years old & next year, will mark 40 years of skating for me. I now own my own Skateboard company: INNER CITY SHINOBI SKATEBOARDS 🥷🥷🥷🥷🥷🥷🥷I have trained in secret for many years, searching for the true essence of Skateboarding. My understanding is that Skateboarding is a Mystic Art , this Art opens a portal to the Divine superhuman realms, where hidden superhuman abilities get activated. My understanding of Skateboarding is totally different now. I see sk8ing as a type of Chi Kung, a moving meditation that has the potential to heal & strengthen the human body & elevate the human mind into Enlightenment. This means that one must master sk8ing from this new Spiritual perspective so as to develop the focus, concentration, surrender and the power to sk8 without ever getting injured. I want to send a thank you to the worldwide underground Skateboarding community for keeping me in their memory & embracing me as part of their Blood family. 💥💥💥💥🥷🥷🥷🥷INNER CITY SHINOBI SKATEBOARDS UPDATEI turned 50 recently. I started skating in 1987 at age 11. I went pro at age 17. I've skated for 39 years! I see skateboarding as a path to Enlightenment, a Spiritual martial art like Shaolin Kung Fu. Several months ago I released my 1st deck on my Sk8 company, we made 75 decks and sold out in 1 week.Thank you so much to everyone who got the boards!!We have a new graphic that's now finished & and we are dropping our 2nd board in August. And I'm telling you, this is one of the best board graphics of all time. This board is a tribute to one of the most legendary Street Sk8 spots ever. If you Love street skating & 1990s street skating culture, you will Love this graphic. We will have size 8.25", 8.5", 9", 7.5 & some 7" mini boards for kids. VERY RARE REAL PHOTO OF ANIMAL CHIN⬆️⬆️‼️915 years ago, in the year 1,111 AD, the immortal Skater, ANIMAL CHIN, invented the first Skateboard in Tibet. Yes it was an indestructible Bamboo Skateboard with wheels made from hardened liquid mercury & Green Jade trucks!Animal Chin has shredded this deck for over 800 years, this Skateboard artifact is incredibly powerful & filled with the immortal skater's CHI ENERGY. He gave the first Skateboard to the Bones brigade in the 1980's, to keep it safe from the forces of evil. In the late 1990's ANIMAL Chin & the Bones Brigade met in secret, and.... entrusted the world's first Skateboard to Me & the SHORTY'S SKATEBOARDS CREW, for safe keeping. When I left the sk8 industry, Animal Chin entrusted me to guard this powerful object from the forces of evil. As I was trained completely in the FORBIDDEN WHITE EYEBROW KUNG FU.... Sending Love to Marc Johnson♥️♾️♥️REST IN PEACERISE IN POWERRIP & SHRED THE DOPEST SPOTS IN THE STREETS OF HEAVENMay God, Goddess, the Universe, the Omniverse & all the higher Divine powers protect him and take his Soul to the Heavenly home I never knew Marc personally, but I definitely felt a strong connection to him as a fellow Skateboarder. I look up to him as a Sensei, a Sifu, a high master of the Art. I wish I could have become his friend.I'm pretty sure we briefly crossed Paths several times at some Skateboard contests like Slam City Jam in Canada & the contest in Muenster Germany & probably some other contests, where many of us Skaters got to meet other Skaters within the industry, in the magical Golden Era of Street Skating, the 1990's.Marc had an otherworldly level of skill & power & style & finesse; the power he held inside, I think we all feel it, and that's part of the reason we all feel so connected to him within the Sidewalk Brotherhood & we all miss him.Within the Spiritual tradition of Sufism, there is a term: QUTB..... A Qutb means a person who is the magnetic center of energy at a certain time in History, the most Spiritually advanced & powerful person in the world.Marc was like a Qutb within the realm of Skateboarding, an unstoppable mystic force of nature. A Vortex where the impossible becomes possible. Happy birthday to Steve Olson a.k.a. Crazy Monk! @crazymonk_streetknowledge Steve is one of the most unique skateboarders in the world and played a huge part in pushing the progression of street skateboarding to where it is today.He was the first pro I chose to ride for @shortysskateboards when I was given the opportunity to build a team.We had toured America together with Toy Machine and Foundation skateboards for a few years before this and we quickly became great friends.He always was a mystical and knowledgeable person since we were young, always sharing ideas and history with me at a time when I didn’t think about or acknowledge these types of things. Although we don’t talk that often these days, I still consider him one of my best friends in this world, and whenever we do talk, we pick up right from where we left off. I wish Steve nothing but the best on this day and all days. 💙I was driving home from work & and decided to pull up in front of the Kurt Kobain house, which is 5 blocks from my apartment here in downtown Olympia Washington. Kurt Kobain lived here years ago when he was still alive. I took these photos just now. There is a small yellow orb in ALL 3 PHOTOS!!! is it the Golden Spirit /Soul of Kurt Kobain paying me a visit❓️True story, right before I took these photos a Black Cat ran across the street not far from me. A good Omen. Also I only wanted to take one photo, and for some reason my phone took a photo, like normal, then it was like someone hit the take photo button again, then a third time, the take photo button was hit, not by me.
