POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I finally did this! To be honest, I didn't think I would need one, but decided recently it was probably a good plan ☺️ It leaves some stuff out of course but this is pretty much it, didn't want to get over or under personal really😂😁

Something I debated on including was specifying the "art related hobbies" but because it ranges so much it would've taken up a lot of the space so I'll just wait a few here.

As you may see from my posts I enjoy drawing in various mediums (pencil, crayon, pens, etc), I enjoy painting with both acrylic and watercolors (I want to try out gauche at some point), photography specifically candid photos and nature photography, writing (mainly the romance genre), and I am currently learning to play the three row button box accordion (I am...working on it, I enjoy it tho even when it sounds a little bad 😂)...

That's it for now, I'll probably end up needing to update this at some point though I am sure 😊

So this is an expansion on my strange dream about Grace from #ProjectHailMary and Simon from #IronLung replacing Bella and Edward in #Twilight with a few modifications. I have "written" out how I think the story would play out and have started drawing it out in somewhat of a comic style. I have been having fun as I kept it to myself and I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I'd like to share it regardless. Also! I have many many many photos I have to go through still and I just don't have the energy for it 😞 but I will try my best to get some photos up soon! 😊💛

So...please enjoy the beginning of a very weird comic 🎉

Drum Roll Please!!

Who is ready for another #bloodymarytober post!! Today I have for you a selection of wonderful art!

@bloodymaryfanzine

Day 9 - Fate - I decided to take the concept of the "red string" and wrap it around Grace, Rocky, and Simon (lookie there I finally drew more Rocky! 🎉) I really like how this piece turned out even though the original vision was slightly different, honestly the tie dye look was unintentional but I love it so much! Thank you @olympusvee, I used one of their lovely pieces of art as a reference for Simon's position (their artwork is fanart of In Space With Markiplier, but I the general position was perfect!) Please go check them out their artwork is awesome!

Day 10 - (my pride and joy) was posters! I am so so so proud of how this turned out and am considering attempting to make prints out of it (which would be new for me). I combined some of the different posters for both of the films and I think it turned out so amazing!

Day 11 - Free Day - I chose a small acrylic piece of the blood moon and tau ceti e (bicycle is still underway, the bike itself is painted, the people riding the bike...not so much).

Day 12 - Grief - I am so sorry, I am sure this is NOT what people were thinking when they asked me to draw more Rocky 😬😖😅 I am proud of it anyways, enjoy the brick! I just saw a lot of different types of grief through everyone's art and decided I wanted to be extra harsh on the fandom I guess 😔😐

And finally Day 13 - microscopic - I think this one is pretty obvious 🤣 I had fun making the funny little "infographic" and working on my fine line sharpie skills.

See y'all for the next round in a couple of days/ whenever I posty again. I hope everyone enjoys!

As usual I have references (minus the posters as I ran out of slides, I thought it was 20 but it said no at 18? Which is Weird...) and progress photos (and some funnies at the end as well 😁💛)

Ok so I decided day 8 deserved it's own post because I was too excited, next post won't be for another couple of days 🤣😁🥰 #bloodymarytober @bloodymaryfanzine

Day 8 is variants and I knew immediately I wanted the specific shot of all the variant Loki's looking down AND I knew I wanted to honor some of the people that got me into the #projectbloodymary ship. By no means is this all of them but I chose some of the most influential artists... minus a few artists that I just simply could not "recreate" or even mimic their work, at least not with my skill level right now.

After careful consideration I chose artists that I loved but also art styles I thought I could mimic relatively well. I also chose to go fully off what the reference image looked like (except the black and white ones, I chose blues for those). So if it was just one solid color that's what I did, which turns out were more than I originally thought 🤔 😂

As usual I have included reference and progress photos. I was a little too ambitious and I wanted to include both Simon and Grace for each artist but there really just wasn't room unfortunately, especially since I committed to keeping as much detail as I could (meaning somethings just had to be larger).

Now for the list of the lovely and inspiring artists (not in any particular order):

@ratsoupee_official
@algae_illustrations
@artfromisabella
@smol_ghosts
@finlin_000
@beangranola
@morg_drawz
@emeraldcraft48
@khloq_art
@pollybeary
@lb____red

There were so many more artists I wanted to include but I just did not have the space and/or talent to do so.

Thank you to literally every Project Hail Mary, Ironlung, and Project Bloody Mary artist I follow, you all really inspire me to be creative and share my art online. I cannot thank you all enough really 🥰😊💛

Hope y'all enjoy!

Post two for #bloodymarytober @bloodymaryfanzine

Decided 3-4 pieces per post was the way to go because they were piling up and kinda stressing me out.

Day 4 was a free day that was skipped for now (I have an acrylic painting in progress I am just slow and it involves drawing a bike which may not seem hard but it is...trust me).

Day 5 was greenhouse, I drew inspiration from one of my favorite scenes from one of my newer favorite fanfics, Rootbound by @tak_cajaz . In the scene, Simon gives Grace a "temporary" box full of "science scraps" for his middle school students and Grace looks back and thanks him before leaving, it's very cute and sweet. I'm not sure why but as soon as I read 'greenhouse' I pictured Grace turning back to Simon ""temporary" science scrape" box in hand saying 'thank you' 🥰

Day 6 was reverence, I chose to do Simon's remaining hand reaching for Grace's open hands like an offering of peace, mostly because I liked the imagery and that's kinda it (also I HAD references for this but they are lost to the aether and I cannot find them!). I both love and hate drawing hands but I think they turned out great! And the monochromatic shading was really fun to do as well!

Day 7 was isolation, I was originally planning on something different but as I was searching for references I found the close up of Simon/Marks eye and the original idea was lost (and may be implemented in the future). I also got to have fun with sharpie again 🎉

As usual there are reference photos (the ones not lost to the aether that is) and some progress photos (gonna be honest I am getting worse at taking them somehow, I will try to do more in the future cause I had NONE for day 6 like how?? Lol) hope y'all enjoy 😁😊

So I'm going to be participating in @bloodymaryfanzine s #bloodymarytober , with prompts to draw something new everyday for #ProjectBloodyMary (full list at the end of the post), mine is with a small slight twist to keep my sanity. I won't be posting everyday, I will be posting on Sunday every week with all of the drawings (I may do twice a week if I feel more progress photos are needed-you can only put so many photos in a post 😂). I will also be using the free space days as rest days/touch up days unless I have a completely amazing idea I gotta get out. I have no ideas for today so you're only getting the 3 days from this week.

Day one was celestial, I used @laironii as inspiration and I had a lovely time recreating their au Simon He's so beautiful! Also once again I am shocked that I am actually good at colored pencils! I think I'll continue to be shocked for quite some time. Big thanks to @jupiterjello._ for the screenshot that I have been keeping safe for this moment 😅 honestly I have so many of my reference photos from people's insta stories it's kind of funny/sad 😭🤣

Day two was blood, and I thought I had progress photos but my photos said "I think not" so I am not sure what happened to those. Regardless, I chose to focus on Simon as the main focus and Grace's face is meant to be a silhouette in the blood. I'm not entirely sure if y'all can see it, but I didn't wanna mess with it too much because I really liked how it turned out.

Finally day three with rings and I chose to go simple with symbols that represent Grace and Simon on their wedding bands and then I have Rocky's symbols on the corner as well alongside some pieces of the traditional Eriadian clothes/jewelry in the background. Honestly I really liked how it turned out!

Hope y'all enjoy 😁💛

Had a great time at the @michrenfest today!! Was so lucky to go as much as I did this year 🥰💛 Loved meeting up with friends! @colleenms97 and @kyla.cleere (and Dom, idk your tag I'm sorry! Colleen will show you I am sure 🙃)

Also had a great time following @thearborconsort around 😁☺️ Your singing was absolutely beautiful today, and the jokes were very funny too! Lastly, I obtained a lovely new print from @thejollythief , it is now lovingly displayed by my owl print 💛

Now I am excited for MORE fall activities 🍂🍁🍎 🥧

Whoa TWO posts in one day?! It's as if I am treating you guys (or I have been bad about posting things when I plan on posting them...either way works).

Here we have *drum roll please* another DTIYS, I have a lot of them back logged, don't come for me I'm trying!

This DTIYS is for @smolscorpion ! Congrats on 17k (now over 20k)!! I love your work! 🥰

This one was really interesting because as some of you may know I don't really do horror, but honestly so proud of how this came out! I can't believe it!

I once again have used different mediums because I simply cannot stop myself. The background I did on my art stream (videos included in the post) and then I really didn't know what the heck I was doing until like...today...so I drew Grace and then I got stuck. I was going back and forth between outlining him, not outlining him, doing crayon etc etc. Well in the end I left some outline but not the black sharpie and I got to play with colored pencil and holy heck! I can actually color with colored pencils guys! Didn't actually think I could, I mean it could use some improvement but look at that!

Anyways enough bragging. After I got Grace done I one again didn't know what I was doing, and I tried a few things, and failed at a few things. Until I got to the simple is best option and I LOVE it so much!

As usual I have progress photos, but I have the videos from the art stream as well as some of the fails. I also included a meme because after I finished coloring Grace I was immediately reminded of it.

Congrats again Smol Scorpion!

Too Much?

...

Anyways... This is another DTIYS for @artfromisabella 💛🎉

Congratulations!

I had a really fun time creating this project, and attempting (and failing) to film the "panels" spinning. I don't know why, but the idea seemed fun to me, and although it wasn't entirely successful I wanted to share my efforts regardless so enjoy that (or don't, I'm not in charge of you).

I used a combination of acrylic on two wooden circles (thank you to my father for giving them to me roughly 4-5 years ago now, they finally came in handy) and cut outs of the drawn out characters. Originally they were drawn in pencil in my sketch book then I went over them with sharpie and finally colored them with crayons (because for some reason that's what I'm into right now, perhaps I actually have a style and I didn't realize it).

I also took a few liberties with wording and added a few lines (we are going to ignore that I used the wrong form of 'your' in the 2nd panel and didn't realize until this very moment because yeah, please and thank you). I like them.

As always I have included the reference photos, but I also included clips from the art stream I did since I started it during that stream.

Congrats again, I hope you enjoy!

DTIYS for @algae_illustrations !! Congrats on 15K (now 16.5K)!! You're so talented and I love seeing you're artwork everytime you post!

For this DTIYS I decided to do some painting! Which I haven't done in a very long time (more to come)! In addition to that I also decided to stream it, which, while I have streamed for a while I haven't really done any art related streams so it was a fun new experience!

As always there are progress photos and the reference photo, but there's also some clips from the stream! (The stream will be up for the next 2 weeks if any one wants to go check it out, along with the other pieces I did today!-shameless plug lol)

Congrats again! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world Algae!
