@disney @pixar Soul inspired makeup look. Very ironically I watched the film when I was 22 and felt every aspect of 22s character. I wanted to include all the elements that capture the film: the piano keys, the staff lines (I think that’s what it’s called), some music notes, the pink orbs that appear when Joe gets into the “zone”, and of course I had to include a pretty iconic character…Terry, at the center of it all. Soul isn’t just a film for me, it’s the lessons that I try to apply to my every day life. I loved the fish analogy Joes mentor gives him: be grateful for what you already have, because a life of discontentment will only grow if you keep seeking what’s next and don’t take in what’s right in front of you. 🫂🤍 I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did ☻

which was your film inspired makeup? 🎞️✨📽️

I think 2024 was probably my turning point for when I started to fall in love with movies as whole. Gained some experience working on set as well as here in LA and it truly chained my brain chemistry in the way I always knew was true to who I was I guess? Movies are so inspiring in many aspects but especially when it comes to art! Being a part of a greater story is something I LOVE and hope to continue to be a part of. Combining movies and makeup has been so fulfilling and I plan on never stopping ❤️🫂 anyways, I’ll see you at the movies.

honestly, this summer was a generational RUN. like I haven’t been THIS EXCITED for film in so long and honestly this motivated to get back to creating again 🥹 I don’t own any comics (yet hehe) BUTTTT after Superman and Fantastic Four something in me made me want to seek out more comics!!!
