Fresh Homemade Blueberry Muffins🫐🍂

These are a staple and so simple to make! Hard to justify putting blueberries in your baked goods when they cost $11 here 🫡 but I was willing to make the sacrifice. This week I officially adulted and invested in a Costco membership, so much more to come! by @createdfrommegan

I am so excited to share that I am officially selling my homemade banana bread here in Haleiwa at @alohaboba.co every day! Every loaf is made fresh daily and I am so thrilled that I finally get to share it with world!

This account started out as just a little space to share my fun hobby baking with my friends and I never would have thought that just a few months later I would be selling my baked goods in Hawaii!!

God has used this little passion of mine in ways I could have never imagined! Whether it be bringing a group of people together or simply adding a sliver of joy to someone’s day, it is so special to get to continue creating something so unifying! Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls with a Pumpkin Cream Cheese Frosting!🎃🍂🍁

the rumors are true… it is officially pumpkin spice season and there is no better way to ring it in then with baking! I am attempting to slow down and stop living my life in a rush. I feel like no matter what I am doing I always think that time is closing in and I have to do everything in a hurry, but nothing is that serious and I do have time. So this fall we are regulating our nervous system and taking things slowwwww taken in Oahu, Hawaii by @createdfrommegan

Finally a win after a couple of baking fails this past week! 🍌🍌🍌

I have been trying to choose recipes that require some sort of waiting component. In a world that lives off of constant dopamine hits and instant gratification, it feels irritating having to wait. Taking time in the things you do helps you see that beauty exists in the journey and struggle and not merely in the end result.

This week I have been challenged to slow down, to build in time for rest. It feels against the grain to actually desire longer wait times or attempt to build in less efficient ways to do everyday tasks but one challenge I received to slow down was from @averycarriee and she suggested that I try not ordering ahead at places, to not be afraid of spending a few extra minutes waiting. It sounds silly but in reality the need to order ahead is a small part of a bigger issue. The inability to wait/constantly be in a rush shows up in how I drive on the road, my patience with others, how I interact with people and is ultimately overloading my nervous system.
