Art is something infinite. Something that heals the soul. Even just a visit to the theater works like a session with a good psychotherapist. There is no rush or fuss in art. Time and again, people who never even suspected they could draw or take photos have found salvation in creativity — from the hectic pace of life, from major changes. Even on our small platform, there are those who have found an oasis for their soul in drawing.

Art truly heals where words are powerless. There are no deadlines, no KPIs — only a dialogue between the soul and itself. Often, a person picks up a pencil or a camera not for the sake of a masterpiece, but to exhale the chaos inside — and suddenly finds peace.

What is especially precious is that even on our small platform, such islands of silence exist. People who do not flaunt their skills, but simply keep a diary in drawings or catch light through a lens. For them, creativity is not a hobby, but an oasis amid the bustle of life.

To touch the infinite, you don’t have to be a professional artist. It’s enough just to be, and to slow down a little.

Do you know that feeling of longing for the sea that even salty shower water can’t soothe? I made this rabbit for those moments.

Inside his little body is a piece of summer breeze. In his paws — a promise of sunrise on an empty beach. He can’t swim, but he can hug you very tightly. Press your cheek to his — and you’ll hear the distant sound of tides.

He was born in my workshop, without a single machine stitch @tkachenko4496 Only a needle, thread, and a huge desire to give you a friend who will never judge. Who will sit silently beside you when you’re sad. And rejoice with you when the air smells of salt and freedom.

Music is a gift I inherited from my parents. For me, art is the creative expression of emotion, intellect, and skill. It is not limited to painting—it includes music, dance, writing, and even a way of life that brings peace to the soul.

My grandfather, Shri Vanshi Gopal Ji Shastri, was a renowned Jal Tarang artist (A‑grade, Doordarshan) and a lecturer in classical music at Rajasthan Sangeet Sansthan. Watching him, I began to gravitate toward music from the age of 7 or 8.

My mother is a trained musician (Sangeet Prabhakar), excels at the harmonium and Kathak dance. She was my first inspiration.

At school, I played the Casio keyboard; in college, I studied tabla for 10 years under my respected Guru, Smt. Urmila Upadhyaya Ji, and earned the Tabla Nipun degree. Whatever I am in music today, I owe to her.

I have no formal training in singing—I learned by listening and practicing. For me, music is the simplest and most powerful way to express feelings. Any sound that touches the heart is music, whether it is folk, ghazal, thumri, or a Western genre.

This is a quote from the book The Last Living Fort, written by young author Varun Arya @aryvarun. The book is dedicated to his brother, Mukul Arya.

The beauty of his writing, the talent and the heartfelt warmth hidden behind every page — it’s something incredible.

From the very first chapters, you immerse yourself in a world where reality intertwines with metaphor, and every paragraph breathes sincerity. Varun doesn’t just tell a story — he creates a space where the reader becomes a participant. His characters feel alive: they have fears, hopes, and that quiet pain you recognize in yourself.

The author’s language is a revelation in itself. At times it’s as clear as a mountain stream; at other moments it suddenly explodes with images that take your breath away. Yet there’s not a hint of pretension in the text — only honesty and a maturity that’s surprising for such a young writer.

The book The Last Living Fort itself is a parable about finding home within yourself, about loyalty to those who have left but remain in the heart. The title is symbolic: the last living fortress is our memory, our love, our bond with family. And when you read the lines dedicated to his brother, you realize that this book was written with the blood of the heart.

Varun Arya is a true discovery. A talent that combines a delicate soul with an extraordinary power of words. I’m sure many more wonderful books await us from this author, but The Last Living Fort will remain that first, pure, piercing voice — impossible to forget.

Sergey Mironchev is a remarkable artist. Last year we had the opportunity to work with him — we organized a small online exhibition and saw his work: a completely different style, the unique beauty of his paintings.

Sergey began painting icons by accident. He and his wife moved to another country, where they found their element and discovered the ability to create together.

Sergey painted his first icon as a gift for a neighbor. After that, this artist — who had never done icon painting before — now creates icons every day and fulfills orders from clients.

This icon of Archangel Michael, rendered in the Byzantine tradition, transcends its immediate religious function to become a powerful psychological and cultural symbol. The figure stands frontal, almost immobile, holding a spear that signifies divine authority and cosmic justice. The stylization—the elongated face, the unwavering gaze, and the absence of naturalistic depth—suggests that the image is not meant to imitate reality, but to reveal a higher, symbolic truth. It invites not observation, but contemplation.

From a Jungian perspective, as developed by Carl Jung, the archangel embodies the archetype of the Warrior-Guardian. He represents the eternal struggle between order and chaos, light and shadow. This figure resonates across cultures because it draws from the collective unconscious, where such archetypes reside. The viewer does not merely see Michael; they recognize him, as if recalling something deeply embedded within the psyche.
At the same time, Otto Rank offers another layer of interpretation. For Rank, artistic images function as projections of the human will to transcend mortality. The archangel becomes a “double” of the human self—an idealized form that has resolved inner conflict and achieved unity of purpose. The spear, in this sense, is not only a weapon but a symbol of directed will, cutting through doubt and fragmentation.

Thus, this icon is more than sacred art; it is a cultural vessel carrying archetypal meaning. It stands at the intersection of religion, psychology, and artistic creation, where the human need for order, identity, and transcendence finds enduring visual expression. by @createmukul

At the exhibition “She in Art and Life” (BSPU, March 26–27), the painting “Voice of Africa” (80×120 cm, oil) by Minsk‑based artist Victoria @victoria.varina will be presented for the first time.

We already collaborated with Victoria last year — working on a joint project and an online exhibition on our platform www.createmukul.com was a true pleasure.

Eyes are the only tool that is always with us. All that’s left is to occasionally pause and “turn on” the viewer within ourselves—noticing not the functionality of objects, but their color, shape, and mood.

So yes—just open your eyes a little wider than usual, and we find ourselves inside an endless gallery, where every moment is a unique masterpiece.🧑‍🎨

Глаза — это единственный инструмент, который всегда с нами. Осталось только иногда останавливаться и «включать» в себе зрителя, замечая не функциональность предметов, а их цвет, форму и настроение.
