Truly enjoyed producing this campaign with director @frankie__spence for @spotifyuk x @youthmusicuk because spaces like these, hugely benefited me too. It’s crazy that there’s a statistic of 1,200+ youth centres closing in the UK since 2010. That’s one every single week. But places like @girlgrinduk and Billy & Andy are still out here changing lives despite the government cuts, these places have continued to build careers, and prove that creativity can’t be contained. Had the pleasure of co-producing this feature film with my g @shamaraadams ✌🏿 It’s the 2nd film I produced in alignment to an album being dropped and I’ve come to really appreciate the process & the art of storytelling with teasing music throughout. Was happy to see the album reach #2 in the charts (just under drake’s album lol) To say the least, It was an absolute madness to pull off and I’ve learnt some valuable life lessons within the challenges, but we did it! Shot in 12 days! Crafted beautifully by @jomar.omeally / lit by @jovan_k5 💫 & edited by a monster team @sam_holding @shaquillaalexander & @ninagabriela1 cutting dallies as we shot consecutively to deliver within a 2 week turnaround (seriously need more time on these things pls & thanks) 😅 The crew worked super hard and endured a crazy schedule and so I have to say thanks for them all pulling through. Film making is a non stop roller coaster and with each one you learn so much.
