I was nervous booking onto this. I’d assumed it would be forty-five minutes of silence and me, failing at it.
It wasn’t.
Rhiannon introduced meditation properly first
💐where it comes from, the myths around it, what it actually is

and then guided us through gently.

I’ve meditated before. But it hadn’t clicked that the practice doesn’t really start until you’re uncomfortable. I sat there waiting for my leg to go fully numb, hunting for relief, and realised that’s exactly what I do all day.

Discomfort shows up and I reach for my phone. I’ve always told myself that’s fine because I work in social media and that’s how I decompress.

I left feeling settled in a way I haven’t in a while. Not fixed. Just content with where I am.

Whether it’s yoga, meditation or just being still for a bit

✨go in with intention.

And go with people. Gathering is the point. Community isn’t given to you, it’s built.
I’ll be back. @sylwstudio
