I was planning on making a Medusa headpiece for this concert but never made it happen. I got the snake’s bodies wired but that was as far as I got with it. I had decided not to try and rush through it and end up being disappointed with a head piece I wouldn’t really be happy with in the end.

I’m glad I accepted my reality and chose not to stress about my daydreamed headpiece or let the lack of it keep me from enjoying the show. I loved every minute of The Fatal Flaw. This album is so enjoyable and its sound keeps playing in my head.

Finished these last week. The fabric is from #millendstorebeaverton. I originally had made them in a high rise with belt loops and a draw string, but then decided I wanted them to be a lower rise with an elastic waist and drawstring. by @creating.something.more

After @em_engstler got a black eye near the beginning of the game I was worried she might not be playing much. She came back and showed the crowd to never count her out. Even with a shiner like that she was still swishing, blocking, and steeling. I hope you are with the Portland Fire for many years to come. Go Em! by @creating.something.more

Finished making this top a couple of weeks ago and finally wore it today. I found this fabric on a trip and thought it would be fun to bring it back and make something out of it for myself. I’ve decided that fabric as a souvenir is the way to go. by @creating.something.more

Having someone use kids markers to explain the “Pick and Roll” to you is humbling. It also made me realize the @portlandfirewnba needs to make some mini figurines of its team and coaches. As I type this I’m thinking that they need to have them packaged in “The Fire Pit” and have it be a mini replica of the Moda center. I’m thinking D&D size figurines.

Tonight I was given this bracket by @portlandfiresigns and it totally made my night. It’s so fun to meet others who are excited about something you are excited about. Was at Target today to pick up something else and saw these!
