✨Slide 8 is where sh*t gets real… by @creatinginneralchemy

🫠Their problems become a distraction from your own...

And because they’re always more emotionally available than you are, you get to be the self aware one. The emotionally mature one. The one who’s trying.

Which also means you never have to ask yourself the harder questions.

What am I avoiding?

What would I have to face if I looked at myself instead?

The goal is to become a safe space for yourself to be able to hold the discomfort that comes with feeling everything you’ve been avoiding.

Because when you stop avoiding yourself, you become to woman who doesn’t need love as a distraction. You become the woman who builds the life of her dreams snd love gets to be the cherry on top.🍒

The fact that you’re here reading this tells me that your journey to become this woman has already started. DM me HEAL to chat, let’s get you a taste test of somatic work and see if we vibe🫶 by @creatinginneralchemy

✨Somewhere along the way I learned that love is rare, and you must hold onto it at all costs.

So no matter how badly someone treated me, I clung to the good. Every time things got better, I convinced myself it would last.

Starting over felt way scarier than staying and hoping things would actually change.

I had to learn how to feel safe enough within myself that I knew I would be okay to break up with him and start over.

When I finally walked away my body had a chance to start healing. I learned how to feel peace in my body, and started choosing peace over chaos.

Every moment your body feels peace it has the opportunity to heal itself.

This is what I walk my clients through with my somatic work. We use somatic work to help your body learn safety and peace as a new normal, while we work through rewiring the patterns that used to pull you back into those dynamics.

You can spend a lifetime trying to heal your body with diets, physio, massage, supplements and all of the things… and waste thousands of dollars. Or you can listen to your body. 🩷 by @creatinginneralchemy

🫠You were so sure that this was it, that you were walking away for good. You had enough, and you felt strong about it.

But when he comes back, he gets vulnerable… He pours his heart out to you and owns up to all his mistakes and promises he’s going to change and work on them.

And obviously you love him, so you soak it all up. You tell yourself this time will be different. I mean, you guys just needed to work through some stuff and now you have.

You avoid your friends because telling them you’re back is 😬..

Deep down you know better, but you feel like you have a weakness for this person.

Every time he blows you off or leaves you hanging for extended periods of time you tell yourself you’re done. But then when he comes back you take him back with open arms.

You keep breaking promises to yourself. Over and over.

If someone else kept telling you they were going to do something and they didn’t, you’d probably stop trusting them.

That’s exactly what’s happening here.

You want to start with small, doable actions.

Like waking up when you say you’re going to. Taking the walk you said you wanted to take. Drinking more water.

You start showing up for yourself in the ways you say you’re going to, and slowly that self trust starts to build and you’re able to move on to bigger.

During my somatic sessions I teach my clients to connect to the way self trust feels in their bodies so they can access it during big and hard decisions.

We connect to your inner experience so we can pinpoint the exact ways in which you abandon yourself on a daily basis and start to rebuild this foundation.

Imagine how good it would feel to trust yourself to walk away from something that you knew was hurting you. 🩷🩷 by @creatinginneralchemy

🥀The pain you feel walking away is temporary vs the pain you feel if you stay…

I know it feels so scary right now baby girl, but I promise there is a version of you on the other side that will look back and be completely detached.

You’re not staying because you’re weak. You’re staying because the familiar feels safer than the uncertainty of change.

I help my clients BECOME the safe space. So it doesn’t matter where you go or what happens, you have this deep knowing and trust in yourself that you have your back and you’ll be okay. 🩷 by @creatinginneralchemy

👀You’re not even mad anymore…

You’re just panicking because you have no idea if he’ll ever pick up the phone. Or come home.

You can’t stop yourself from calling him over and over.
But every time you do and he doesn’t pick up you get more upset.

You don’t understand how someone that loves you acts like he doesn’t care about your feelings.

So when he finally comes back and apologizes, you let it go. You’re just so happy he’s back.

He tells you he can’t handle it when you attack him, and so you promise yourself you’ll approach him in a better, more gentler way next time.

Somehow him doing something to hurt you has turned into you being focused on what you should do differently.

Nothing ever really got resolved, but you feel better right now.

Your fear of him leaving was so intense, that you totally forgot about the bad behaviour that made you angry in the first place

You had a boundary…him communicating with you when he’s out with friends… but staying connected to him became more important than holding the boundary.

Because in that moment, you felt like the only thing that could make you feel better was him.

You never learned how to find that safety or relief yourself.

Imagine the same fight, but this time when he walks out the door, you don’t feel like you need him to calm down.

You’re still hurt. You’re still angry. You might even be scared the relationship is over.

But you know how to stay with yourself through it.

You don’t call him 15 times. You don’t apologize just to get him home.

And when he does come back, the relief of having him there doesn’t erase what happened.

You have the power to decide what YOU want to do next.

This is the work I do with my clients. I show you how to make yourself feel safe when you’re triggered so someone else’s actions don’t rule your life.

This lack of safety and constant need to find it again is the driving force of this push pull dynamic you find yourself in time and time again.

If we rebuild your foundation, we break the cycle.💪 by @creatinginneralchemy

You’ve likely heard before that a childhood lacking something leads to an adulthood of seeking that thing- but did you know that this can also apply to masculine energy?

In today’s Friday’s with Friends episode, our guest Sarah is walking us through this exact concept and how after years of having no safety in the masculine, she tried to create it herself.

Together we explore what this overdrive mentality drove her to do- including coping with alcohol and drugs, choosing a male-dominated career in the trades that she hated, and ending up in relationships with people that weren’t exactly healthy.

✨This is honestly the biggest flex… finding peace.

Going on a trip and being present, in the moment.

Not having to worry about anything other than where you are.✌️ by @creatinginneralchemy

✨And when being loved was the thing I thought would make me feel okay, I was willing to sacrifice almost anything to keep it.

Through my somatic work, I learned how to connect and heal the part of me that felt like I needed someone else to be okay. I learned how to become my own safe space.

Which meant I stopped looking outside myself for everything I needed.

When you create that level of safety and connection within yourself you stop ditching your friends because he wants to hang out.

You don’t bend your values to be chosen.

You stop revolving your life around love and start building a life that feels FULL…and peaceful, and passionate with yourself and your friends.

And love gets to be the cherry on top.🍒 by @creatinginneralchemy

💀You really don’t want to be that girl who goes through her boyfriend’s phone…

But I mean he has done a couple of things that haven’t made you feel ver good.

You did catch him texting another girl when you first started dating but he promised it was just that one time, and he keeps liking other girls photos on instagram…

It’s not really a big deal, but you don’t love it.

Every time you bring it up to him he tells you it’s not a big deal and it’s nothing to worry about. He gets annoyed. So you let it go.

You don’t know why but you still can’t seem to trust him.

You can’t seem to decide whether it’s your intuition telling you somethings off or if you’re just being paranoid.

What if I told you that the VERY first time something felt off with this guy, your body clocked it.

Maybe you got a little pit in your stomach, or your chest tightened. You probably didn’t even notice, or you brushed it off.

Every time you mentally tried to move on from something, your body was keeping score. So your mind is in a constant battle with what your body already knows.

This person doesn’t make you feel safe.

All of these little things that don’t get addressed properly start to build.

The somatic work that I do with my clients helps them to build that connection to their bodies. So they start to clock those micro moments.

That body connection starts to build a deeper level of self trust within yourself.

So the moment something feels off, you bring it up and you don’t question whether your reaction was too much, you trust it.

Then you watch how he reacts. If he gets defensive or tries to brush it off…you stop trying to over explain and trust your feelings are valid.

And if he keeps showing you he can’t give you the relationship you want, you stop trying to change him. You believe him. And you leave. Even when it fcking hurts.

Hit the follow button and let’s get started.🫶🫶 by @creatinginneralchemy
