Yarn Haul Time!

This is my 2nd order from @little_knits_seattle and I couldn’t be happier! They have deeply discounted yarns and are definitely going to be a go to site for me.

I purchased 2 Sweater’s Quantities of @jodylongyarns Andeamo Lite and 1 SQ of @cascadeyarns 200!

I decided to include my exact purchase prices for transparency, and I find it nice to see the sum for a full project vs per skein.

Also- should I order the Andeamo chunky for The Garment??? I haven’t decided, my daughter has brought it up several times since seeing the photos, but I’m not sure if I could squeeze it in to my ever growing WIPs 🤔

Might get the DROPS hype now 👀

After loving Drops Belle, I placed an order on Rito.com to try a bunch more Drops bases. I’m especially excited about the alpaca blends and once I swatch and play around with these, I’ll decide on and order some sweater quantities.

These are just first impressions but there are already a few I’m VERY excited about. I also got my daughter’s first impressions and her favorites are Sky and Cotton Merino.

What Drops yarn am I missing out on? There will definitely be another order lol

Schoppel Wolle Unboxing!

Everything I Knit in July! Spoiler: My Hands Hurt

A month full of plant based fibers has my hands and wrists ACHING… I think it’s time to transition back to wool and fall knitting 😅

I’m really proud of my knits this month! Some of the highlights:
1 Gift Knit (blue bandana)
1 Languishing wip completed (scrappy blanket)
1 Test Knit (Moon Lake Raglan)
+ A whole ass outfit to wear to Flock!!

Honorable mention: my first knitted skirt!

I found the whole process of making my Flock outfit exciting and mentally stimulating. Almost like the feeling of an advent calendar as a kid! A gift everyday leading up to a day of gifts??? 🥳

I definitely want to chase that feeling and either find more events to knit for or find other ways to have that excitement and inspiration.

If you’ve experienced this, what sparked it? Was it an event, goal, deadline, or something else? Looking for ideas

Daydreamer by @sari_n_ using @dropsdesign Belle! This was my first time knitting a skirt and definitely won’t be my last

The scrappiest of blankets for my desk! I knit this as a part of the Summer Scrap Along hosted by @handmadebygib and @andrea.gaughan.knits and used about 900 grams of scraps! by @creatingkendall

It’s Shoreline Vest release day!!

I had the chance to test this vest by @toriknitsnyc and am so so happy with my finished result! I knit my version in @pluckyknitter Beauregard DK, a Yak/Cashmere blend.

There are so many amazing design elements in this garment, from the purl columns, to the eyelet edges!

My favorite feature is that the icords are not attached! You just thread them through the eyelets of your choice, so you can customize this with as many or few ties as you want. One downside to many other icord tied vests is you can’t really wear it open, I mean what do you do, just let them dangle? 🥴 The Shoreline solves that problem and makes it so much more versatile!

I definitely need a summer blend version but also…. How about a long one too? Like mid-thigh? There’s so many possibilities!!

‼️URGENT: FLOCK MERCH HAS ARRIVED ‼️

I am so excited to attend Flock Fiber Festival for the first time and to fill this tote bag to the brim! I am going to embroidery it with scraps like they showed in the merch photos and if I have time, I will be adding some bag knit charms 😍🌈🦄

Side note: this is a really high-quality tote bag, with thick canvas, an interior pocket, and a zipper!

This has officially put me into “Flock Mode” brb… gotta finish knitting my fit 💁🏼‍♀️✌️

Kingfisher Tee by @andrea.gaughan.knits is live!

I expect this tee to get a lot of love this summer in my wardrobe! The style, fit, and color is right up my alley.

I used @kelbournewoolens Mojave in Prussian Blue and if you head over to Andrea’s insta, looks like Kelbourne is offering a discount on this base for the pattern release!

I finished my Swallowtail V-Neck by @aimeeshermakes!

Knit in @swancityyarns Fluffy Sock, colorway Plum Latte, I think this will be the perfect tee for summer!

I have a full pattern run through video on my TikTok (same username as here).

I honestly feel so pretty in it 🥹 (inserts “do you feel Bonita?” 🤣)

I completed this with just a day to spare before the #ASMMAL2026 deadline!

It’s #kauritee release day!! @skeinnydippin designed such a fantastic summer basic.

This tee has a continuous saddle shoulder with a beautiful scooped neck line. Knit on 5.00mm needles, it works up so quickly!

I knit the size 4 for about 1-2” positive ease and used @dandoh.designs Linen in Pacific.

Only took me about 4 days and a little over 500yds! I will definitely be casting on a second one soon!
