One year down, one semester to go!! @parsonsschoolofdesign ❤️ We’re almost one degree hotter 🥵📚🎨 I’m so grateful for the BPATS program that allowed me to work and go to school full time!

It’s been such a beautiful experience going back as an adult with more intention, appreciation for education and real world experience. I used to think I didn’t need school as a creative, but higher education has enriched my life in more ways I can count. My goal was to learn, expand, experiment and grow my technical skillset to be an industry leader in illustration but I got so much more than that!

I’ve learned the art of allowing your work to be critiqued, interdisciplinary thinking, the impact of the arts in urban cities, strong critical thinking skills and most importantly that you’re always going to be developing as an artist no matter how much you learn. The more I learned, the more I realized how much I didn’t know which is always a humbling experience.

Going back to school while working full time is uncomfy, full of challenges, intense and requires sacrifice but we’re almost finished and I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made! Building something that would allow me to continue my education was always the goal. I can’t wait to integrate all that I’ve learned 😭

Welcome to the✨Pinay Princess Diaries✨🇵🇭 Episode 2! Once a week, I literally just exist and do the bare minimum and pretend I’m not in school and running a business full time 🌟 (also hustle culture did in fact make me ugly inside and out 😭)

I tried the new Googlebook! 💻 (from a creative’s POV!)

We attended the launch of the new Googlebook in NYC and tested the features that actually matter for artists and small business owners 🎨✨ Magic Pointer feature that activates Gemini on my screen, a full year of Photoshop, Premiere, and CapCut included, a 3k OLED display I can actually trust with my colors, and Rambler turning my incoherent ideas into clear and concise writing! 💅🏽
