Now I understand why I could never find you.

Maybe I wasn’t supposed to.

For over a year, I believed there was something real waiting for me at the end of all of this. Especially this last year. I followed every feeling, every reason to keep going, believing eventually it would all make sense.

Instead, I lost everything along the way.

Things I earned. Things I loved. Things I thought were mine. People I trusted. Pieces of myself I’m still trying to find.

And somehow, I still kept looking for you.

I even came back to the very place I once ran from just to be closer to you.

Only to end up here, wondering if everyone knew except me. Wondering if I spent years chasing an illusion while the truth was closer than I ever knew.

Maybe I’ll never know exactly what was real.

Maybe I’ll never get the answers I thought I needed.

But I’m finally at peace with not searching for them anymore.

I came back looking for you, but somewhere along the way, I found my way back to myself.

So I’m not running anymore.
I’m not chasing anymore.
I’m not waiting anymore.

Whatever was real, I’ll carry with love.
Whatever wasn’t, I’ll let go with grace.

And whatever comes next, I’ll meet it as myself.

At peace.

And to once think I held no beauty on the surface.
To have only felt beauty and love from deep within thy soul… thy heart… thy mind.
And yet, through the road of life, I have discovered that the beauty I’ve always known myself to possess within, is not only so clearly displayed on the outside of me, but powerfully radiates through this beautiful life of mine and through the people I love✨

How lovely it is to embrace the winds of change. To dance to the rhythm of destiny with class and grace✨ I have now grown into a new chapter within this journey called life. Excitement runs through me as visions of what’s in store become clear and bright.
