Last February, I worked as an editor for the 20th anniversary of King of the Hammers. Our focused film crew spent the week capturing driver profiles that aired during the livestream and ran on social throughout the event.

The current piece I'm highlighting here, shows off-road veteran Randy Slawson as he raced his 20th King of the Hammers. This year he became the first 4-time King of the Hammers champion. 13+ hours, only 2 of 81 finishers. 🤘 🔥

Black Rock City showed up and filled a blank canvas with awe-inspiring art, whimsical theme camps, and phantasmagorical mutant vehicles.

Axis Mundi was a manifestation of love, hard work, creativity, and the Communal Effort of inspired beings committed to building something extraordinary together. It’s through Participation that Burning Man continues to ripple outward, igniting hearts in communities around the world.

The magic doesn’t stop when Black Rock City disappears. The story continues at Regional Events, Decompressions, Burning Man-inspired gatherings, and anywhere people come together with their most creative, inquisitive, playful, and resilient selves.

Keep showing up. Keep creating. Keep the ripple going. ✨
