Thirty 7years later🤎🤎 I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. I’m grateful for everything I’ve experienced—the good, the bad, and even the ugly. Every moment, every lesson, and every chapter has shaped the person I am today. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited for everything still ahead.

37 feels different. It feels like a gift. And this year, I’m choosing to be present, grateful, and unapologetically thankful to still be here.🤎🤎

Here’s to me. Here’s to life. And here’s to everything still waiting for me. 🥂✨ 9/7

How I’m feeling in my favorite pants!! by @creative_hands_artistry

Today makes 4 years of living with end stage kidney failure.
Four years of my life and worrying about everyday being my last. Four years of pain that doesn’t clock out, fear that follows me everywhere, and a body that no longer feels like my own.
.
I don’t share this for sympathy. I share it because this is real. This is my life. And even though it’s been unbearably hard, I’m still here. Still fighting. Still surviving, even on the days it feels impossible.
This illness has taken so much from me. It’s taken my freedom, my energy, my peace, and parts of my identity I’m still mourning. I’ve missed out on moments, and versions of myself I’ll never get back. Some days the grief feels heavier than the disease itself.

What people don’t see are the nights I cry alone, the constant anxiety about my health, the exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix, and the way I’ve had to learn how to survive instead of live. I smile in public, but privately I’m grieving a life I never got to choose to lose.

I’m not strong every day. Some days I feel angry, broken, and so incredibly tired of fighting. But today still matters. Because even in all this pain, im still here, even when just being here hurts….. by @creative_hands_artistry
