✨ Meet the Artist ✨

Hi, I’m Tara, the artist behind Creative Lotus Shop.

I’ve always been drawn to creating with my hands. Clay has become my favorite way to bring ideas to life, and over the years I’ve created everything from functional pottery to one-of-a-kind ceramic art.

Today, my passion is creating handmade memorial urns for beloved pets and family members. Each piece is carefully crafted with compassion and designed to celebrate a life that was truly unique.

Thank you for being here and supporting my small business. It truly means the world to me. I’m grateful for every person who takes the time to follow my journey and support handmade art.

A tortoise memorial, made one thoughtful detail at a time. 🐢

I sculpted the textured shell and gentle face by hand, then finished this custom ceramic urn in soft, earthy glazes inspired by the garden around it. A one-of-a-kind tribute for a very special companion.

Custom pet memorials are created with care at Creative Lotus Shop.

Sometimes the smallest visitors carry the biggest meaning. 🤍

Hummingbirds are often seen as symbols of love, hope, joy, and a reminder that those we love may still feel close to us in unexpected ways.

I added colorful hummingbirds and flowers to this one of a kind ceramic memorial vessel, surrounded by flowing shades of blue, rust, amber, and soft earthy tones.

Created to hold the ashes of someone deeply loved, but designed to feel like a beautiful piece of art you would be proud to display in your home. 🤍

A vessel for their ashes. A piece of art for their memory.

Their life wasn’t ordinary. Why should their final resting place be? 🤍

When someone you love is gone, the things that remind you of them become incredibly important. Their favorite flowers. Their personality. Their colors. The little details that instantly make you think of them.

That’s why I create memorials that don’t simply hold ashes — they help keep those pieces of a person close.

Each urn is handmade and designed specifically for the life it represents, creating something beautiful enough to keep in your home and meaningful enough to become part of their story.

Because you shouldn’t have to choose something generic for someone who was anything but. 🤍

💀🌙 Last one of the season!

This handmade ceramic skull planter is one of my favorites. I love how the glaze turned out with all the different colors and details. 🪴✨

One of my favorite pieces I’ve made so far. 🤍🌿

This one-of-a-kind plant stand was created from foraged wood that I sandblasted and brought back to life, with petrified mushrooms incorporated into the design. 🍄

I love letting the natural character of the wood guide each piece and turning it into something completely unique.

This one is available for purchase! My one-of-a-kind plant stands tend to go pretty quickly, so if it speaks to you, send me a message. 🤍

A small heart designed to hold a big love.

This handmade ceramic remembrance heart holds a small portion of ashes, allowing you to keep your loved one close wherever life takes you. Created to be held in your hand during moments when you need comfort, connection, and remembrance.

Each heart is completely one of a kind—just like the memories it holds. #MemorialUrn #PetUrn #PetMemorial #MemorialKeepsake #AshesKeepsake PetLoss RemembranceGift by @creative_lotus_shop

A custom urn finished and I am absolutely obsessed with how this glaze turned out. ✨

The honeycomb texture came alive in the firing with layers of deep blue, turquoise, and warm gold shifting across the surface in the most beautiful way. No two angles look the same.

Honored to create something so meaningful and one-of-a-kind. 🤍
