Super 2 Star Joins Stacked Queensland Raceway Grid For ARC Debut: Eggleston Motorsport Super 2 Series driver, Bradi Owen, is set for his ARC debut with team Motorsport 25 this weekend. The 20-year old tested at Sydney Motorsport Park last Wednesday & looks to chase some positive results at Queensland Raceway. “Thoroughly enjoyed my first steer in the Procool Aussie car, they are quite a unique car to drive,” Owen told ARC media. The Super 2 driver looks for new learnings in Queensland considering he has not raced anything but Super 2, Sprint Cars & Excels since the end of 2024. “It will be a big weekend of learning with only one practice session, thankfully I have driven around Queensland Raceway a fair bit, so it will more so be learning the traits of the car. Owen & his team have lingered the idea of running an Aussie Racing Car for over 6 months now, and with his 2026 Super 2 campaign having a 2-month break until Round 4 at Mount Panorama, he looks to keep sharp elsewhere. “I can’t thank car owner (Troy Jones) from Procool and the crew at Motorsport 25 enough, for giving me this opportunity to get some more seat time during what is quite a lengthy gap until my next Super 2 round at Bathurst. “I am honestly a bit unsure what to expect for the weekend, however I would love to get a good result for everyone involved, but most importantly enjoying going racing and having a fun weekend with a good bunch of guys and girls.” Bradi will kick off his debut weekend in the #47 Procool Aussie Racing Car this Friday, live from the screens of Fox Sports & Kayo. Not quite the Saturday we were chasing. Friday showed the pace we know we’ve got, but for whatever reason we just couldn’t quite find that same speed when it mattered most. Still, we kept digging, never gave up, and finished the weekend on a high with my best-ever Toyota 86 result, bringing it home in P7. 👊 A massive thanks to the team for all the hard work throughout the weekend. talk about a blast from the past! @craigdontas raced this car at the very last sydney 500 in 2016! it did one race meeting as it was built a a replacement after it's predecessor was totalled at the gc 500 a month before. since then the cars owner @cliftonmoparcampbell has kept it in pristine condition in tassie until it was recently sold to @jade_clouten my boys and i wrapped this car 10 years ago! it really is a time capsule and still in mint condition. I had it in my shop this week to wrap a new bonnet which replaced the thankyou cliffy bonnet that it was run with at its first and last meeting, and to change the front up a touch, just the way jade likes it... the front has now lost the blue, continued the red and added my current logo ;) now the car is headed further north to be united with its new owner and be used as a show/promotional car. how good! I loved working on these things back in the day, and it was good to get back amongst it. thankyou boys for the opportunity :) by @creative_signworx
