Some notes from last weekend:

•Until May 15th, 2023, In order for single moms in Mississippi to get childcare, they had to file for child support even if the other parent was dead or incarcerated

•Is*ael is aiming for exhaustion of the Palestinian family, weaponizing hope which has been a mechanism for survival

•care from above & care from below. what does it look like?

•why do we live in a world where we determine what other people need

•child protection system = prison industrial complex systems

• Care in disability: carceral enclosure of community; care used to justify control over lives

•responsibility of self -care in a system that takes everything away from you

•womb to prison pipeline

One thing for sure and two things for certain:

-Pay attention to the Palestinian gen0cide, it is all of our businesses

-Big tech + todays maintenance of eugenics (amongst a gamut of other issues) is apart of a larger agenda to sharpen systems of bodily surveillance

Use the app EUKI to track your period, instead of others

-We must understand our movements and histories as interconnected, one informs the other

-I don’t take aesthetically pleasing pictures when I’m focused and also trying to understand this world but herstory should be documented nonetheless

-There is a lot to be mad at and there are even more reasons to have joy. Look at the mobilization and conversations that is/are happening. Join em! And protect your sanity.
