You don’t need a certain title, level of experience or professional status to belong here. 💛 When @memoi.reve came along to one of our Creative Community Catch-Ups, she shared that she initially felt nervous and “out of her depth” about attending — but decided to come along anyway. “I got to meet and connect with amazing people from different backgrounds without worrying about what I could bring to the table.” She later shared something that really captured what I hope @creativecommunity.au can continue to be: “Thank you for creating a space for everyone to connect without worrying about their professional status. It means a lot to me, who is still new to the creative industry.” Whether you’re established in your career, just starting out, studying, changing direction, building something of your own or simply curious — everyone is welcome! ❤️ No pitches. ✨ This is what community looks like! ✨ One week on from our September @creativecommunity.au Catch-Up and I’m still thinking about the conversations, laughter and new connections made throughout the evening. ❤️ Created and hosted by @waiyindesigns, Creative Community Catch-Up is an alternative to traditional networking. No pitches. No pressure. Just a relaxed and welcoming space for creatives, artists, designers, performers, makers, entrepreneurs and curious minds to connect, exchange ideas and see where a conversation might lead.
