Let Everything That Has Breath Praise the Lord!

Did you know that creativity is another beautiful way to worship God? Whether through art, music, dance, drama, or creative expression, the gifts God has placed within us can be used to glorify Him!

📖 Psalm 149:3 reminds us:

"Let them praise His name with dancing; let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and lyre."

At Auntie Connie’s Creative Corner Ministry, we believe that creativity is more than making something beautiful. It's an opportunity to connect with God, express our faith, inspire others, and celebrate the gifts He has given us.

✨ Every brushstroke can tell a story.

🎶 Every song can become a testimony.

💃🏽 Every dance can become an expression of praise.

🎭 Every creative gift can become an instrument of ministry.

You don't have to stand behind a pulpit to minister. Sometimes your ministry is found in the movement of your feet, the melody of your voice, or the masterpiece created by your hands!

So today, I encourage you to embrace your creativity, celebrate your gifts, and allow God to use them for His glory!

At Auntie Connie’s Creative Corner Ministry, we believe creativity is more than an activity—it's a God-given gift, a form of expression, and a beautiful way to worship!

Whether through music, dance, painting, singing, or creative movement, every gift can become an offering of praise to God. 🙏🏾

📖 Psalm 100:1–2 reminds us to make a joyful noise unto the Lord and come before His presence with singing!

Our mission is to create opportunities where children, youth, and adults can discover their gifts, express their creativity, build confidence, and experience the joy of worship through the arts.

Because worship doesn't always happen behind a pulpit or in a pew. Sometimes, it happens with a paintbrush in your hand, a song in your heart, or dancing feet! 💃🏾🎨🎶

✨ Every gift has a purpose. Every creative expression has a voice. And every voice can bring glory to God!

💚 World Mental Health Day | October 10

From our youngest children to our cherished seniors—and those who care for them—mental health matters at every stage of life.

Across The AKL Group, LadibugLegacy Carpooling, Annie Kares, Auntie Connie’s Creative Corner, Auntie Connie’s Creative Corner Ministries, and The Village Creative Academy, we share a heart for caring for people and building community.

Today, let’s make room for honest conversations, big feelings, quiet moments, and a little extra grace. Check on someone. Listen without judgment. Help a child name their feelings. Remind a senior they are valued. And remember to check in with yourself, too.

Faith, compassion, community, and professional support can all have a place in caring for our mental health. Asking for help is something we can encourage and honor.

You are loved. You deserve care. You don’t have to carry it alone. 💚

I’m excited to help Congregational Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey, begin shaping its youth and young adult ministry around Rooted & Rising: Real Faith. Real Life. Real Purpose.

We’re starting by listening. What do our young people need? What would help them feel connected? How can we create opportunities for them to grow in Christ, express their gifts, and serve their community?

We’re inviting youth and young adults to a virtual Planning & Listening Session on October 6 at 6:30 PM. This is an opportunity to share their thoughts on the theme and help shape what comes next.

Sometimes I just have to pause and say, “God, You have been so good to me.” 🙌🏾💛

For the blessings I can name and the ways You’ve cared for me that I may never see. For the people who show up with love, the strength to keep going, and the little moments that remind me I’m never alone—thank You.

Life doesn’t have to be perfect for me to recognize His goodness. Even in the waiting, the uncertainty, and the days when my heart feels heavy, His love remains steady.

Today, I’m making room for gratitude. For another morning. For fresh mercy. For opportunities to love, serve, create, and begin again.

As people of faith, we pray for our communities—and we also have opportunities to care for them through our actions. Voting is one way to speak up for the well-being of our neighbors, our children, and the generations coming after us.
