A proud Virginia State University alumna, Joslyn Jennings attended VSU from 2002–2006, majoring in Visual Communications as part of the Art Department. Her Trojan experience extended well beyond the classroom—she was a member of Sista 2 Sista, served as a Resident Assistant in Eggleston and Trinkle Halls, and played intramural basketball.

Today, Joslyn is a creative entrepreneur, artist, and founder of @creativeflavor, a Philadelphia-based creative experience company bringing people together through art, connection, and joy.

For Joslyn, creativity is more than a talent—it’s a gift from God. She believes what God has placed inside of her is meant to be shared, not kept to herself. Through her art, events, and the spaces she creates, her heart is to bring people joy, encourage others, build community, and let God’s light shine through her work.

Whether she’s painting a canvas, creating a unique experience, or inspiring someone to step into their own creativity, Joslyn is passionate about reminding people that there is beauty in creating, connecting, and simply being yourself.

At The House of Troy, Joslyn is bringing that creativity back home. Guests will have the opportunity to watch her paint live onsite, experiencing her creative process as it unfolds. She’ll also be vending throughout the evening, with a collection of her unique creations available for purchase.

From the VSU Art Department to creating experiences of her own, Joslyn’s artistry is coming home to Troy. 🎨
