4 years ago, I started driving around Norman taking photos of empty walls, playing the game, “Why Isn’t There a Mural Here?” and, well, it caught some traction. This led to the City of Norman being willing to invest in this endeavor.

The Public Arts Committee of the Norman Arts Council took the $150,000 investment in public art from the city and created the Mural Incentive Program with $100,000 of the money, and with the other $50,000 began making this dream a reality. I am proud to have been a small part of making this massive thing happen!

Please spread the word about this mural opportunity with ANYONE you know who paints murals and would want to participate. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in making this FINALLY happen!

More murals.
More community.
More investment in public art.

Cheers! Love you all! 🖤🖤🖤

12 days left to see “Selfish Art”! Holler at me if you would like to try and see it during non-gallery hours! We’ve sold somewhere around 70 pieces, which means there’s like 100 left! They are only $15 apiece and would make really great gifts, or you can just make me smile by knowing that they made it to great home!

I cannot thank @uncannyarthouse enough for being willing to showcase this exhibition, nor can I thank anyone who came out, bought a piece, or supported this show in anyway! Also a big thank you to the @normanarts Council for the grant making this show much more affordable!

Cheers, love you all! 🖤🖤🖤 taken in Uncanny Art House by @creativegiles
