Hi there! This post is for anyone new to my page! 🖤🤍

I create original illustrations, printable art for your home, and coloring pages you can print right at home and make your own.

My friends brought the colored pages in this video to life! It makes me so happy to see their personalities come through in something I drew.

You’ll find my artwork, little drawing lessons, and a peek at my creative process here. I hope this becomes a place where you feel inspired to create, too.

I would love to hear what you enjoy. Is it decorating with art, coloring, or a little of both?

Think you can’t draw? Let’s start with a sunflower 🌻✏️

Welcome to my first Mini Art Lesson! I’m breaking it down into simple steps so you can grab a pencil and draw along with me. No experience needed! Just a little curiosity 💛🌻🖤

Pause whenever you need to, take your time, and let your flower look like YOUR flower.

Save this for your next creative break, and if you try it, tag me @creatively_kt_ so I can see!

There’s something really special about watching an idea slowly come to life.

Every project I create starts the same way…a sketchbook full of messy, imperfect ideas. From there, I spend hours working on my iPad, one tiny detail at a time.

This week, I reached a milestone! I printed one of my pieces for the very first time to see what it looked like in a frame.

And that’s when this story took an unexpected turn.

My friend Rebekah has been one of my biggest supporters from the very beginning. She helped me print everything, encouraged every idea, and somehow our “take a few pics of my artwork” turned into us carrying framed artwork to girls’ night.

By the end of the night, our friends were laughing, we were laughing even harder, and I’m pretty sure we gave the restaurant staff something to talk about. LOL

Moments like these remind me that building something meaningful isn’t just about the final result. It’s about the people who celebrate the little milestones with you along the way.

This is just one small chapter of a much bigger project, and I’m getting more excited to share it with you.

💋🥰❤️ P.S. Watch until the end…everyone needs hype girls like these!

I was excited to share my Mediterranean Coffee collection on Etsy! This collection was inspired by my love of coffee, but even more by what coffee represents to me.

One of my favorite things about Greece is the coffee culture. Getting coffee isn’t always about grabbing a drink and moving on. It’s a reason to sit down, catch up, spend time together and slow down for a little while.

That feeling is what inspired my Mediterranean Coffee Collection.

To me, these drawings represent spending time with people you love, being somewhere fun, slowing down, or even quietly enjoying a cup of coffee by yourself.

Just being present, enjoying the moment and enjoying your life. 🤍🖤

I put together a collage here of some of our travel pictures, sketches of my coffee collection and the actual pieces I made for Etsy. You can check them out more on my Etsy site!

Out here celebrating National Coffee Day in my favorite hometown ☕️🖤🤍

People definitely noticed I was carrying a picture frame around while my friend took pictures of me lol but I’m so excited about my artwork that I did not care 😂

I felt so cool carrying one of my own framed pieces in my bag walking to the coffee shop.

Cheers to doing the things that make you excited, even if you look a little silly doing them.

Drop a ☕️ if you’re celebrating National Coffee Day too, or send this to your favorite coffee person.

I’ve been working on something special that I can’t wait to share! But before I do, I wanted to share a little piece of how it all began.

So many of my ideas begin with the places we’ve been and the little moments along the way.

This year, I’ve really fallen in love with the simplicity of black-and-white art. I love sitting down with my sketchbook and a pen, drawing and trying my best to capture a feeling or the moment.

When I decided to create my first collection, the blue heron felt like the perfect place to start. I’ve always loved the wildlife we come across on our adventures, and drawing these birds gave me a way to capture the quiet beauty of nature. I loved sketching each one by hand and then bringing the drawings to my iPad to turn them into a finished collection.

I’ve already created my next collection. Any guesses what inspired it?

Stay tuned…

In a world filled with screens, scrolling, and technology, it feels really good to have something that lets you disconnect for a little while. 🤍

Last night my friend printed out pieces from my Blue Heron and Mediterranean Coffee collections, and we spent the night watercoloring, using colored pencils, talking, laughing, and making each piece completely our own.

It was so cool and I loved it!

I originally created these as printable artwork for homes, but I’m realizing there are so many ways to enjoy them. It’s fun because you make my print your own, or turn it into a little creative night with your favorite people.

Sometimes creating doesn’t have to be serious. It can just be an excuse to sit around a table together and have fun.

Save this for your next girls’ night and send it to the girls you’d do this with. 🤍

Part One: How I make my Etsy prints!!! ✏️ This is a little look into my process and workflow.

I have a running list of ideas that I’m always adding to. I’ll see something and immediately think, how can I turn this into a drawing?

Once I have an idea of what I want to create, I go through photos I’ve taken for inspiration. Some of my sketches come completely from my mind, while others are inspired by what I was actually seeing, just with my own little twist.

From there, I spend time sketching the entire scene and then zooming in on the smaller details and objects that make it up.

This is the first part of how I make my Etsy prints. In Part Two, I’ll show you how I take what I’ve drawn, bring it into my iPad, and turn it into the digital artwork you see in my shop. 🤍

For the past few years, I’ve wanted to do something more with my art. I just wasn’t sure what that would look like.

My art has grown with me over the last four years. As we traveled and moved from place to place, sometimes all I could carry was a pen and paper. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with sketching that way.

A pen keeps things simple. It makes me slow down and think about what I want to put on the page and which little moments I want to remember.

Now I take those sketches, refine them digitally, and turn them into printable art you can download. I love knowing that a drawing that began wherever I happened to be can find a place in someone else’s home.

The thought of someone choosing a piece I made for their own space means the world to me. It feels like we get to share a little piece of a moment together, and I love that. 🤍

My Etsy shop is officially open! You can explore it through the link in my bio and I will drop it in the comments section of this post. Thank you for being here at the beginning of this chapter. 🥂

The next cleanest version of my next sketch! Excited to clean these up even more digitally!

A lot of the inspiration for this one came from the coffee culture we experience when we’re in Greece.

I knew I wanted to draw several chairs because coffee there is never really just about the coffee.

It’s sitting down with your people.
Catching up.
Laughing.
Telling stories.
And somehow staying much longer than you planned.

It’s connection, and it’s one of those simple parts of life that makes everything feel a little fuller.

That’s the feeling I wanted to capture in this piece.

I also decided to talk about it on camera today…in direct sunlight…which very kindly highlighted every pore and imperfection I own. Lol

I almost didn’t post the video. But I loved what I said, I felt excited, and I don’t want everything I share to have to look perfectly polished to be worth sharing.

So here is my next sketch that I am very proud of and a little of the story behind it.

This wasn’t supposed to be the drawing I made during my last week in Greece. I imagined I’d find a few quiet hours to sit down and make one final sketch.

Instead in Greek fashion we were very busy with family stuff lol (one of my favorite parts of Greece) So in between the chicken souvlaki and coffees I just sketched out flowers that came to my mind.

Again nothing grand in my sketch but when I look back in my sketchbook I will remember this as being a wonderful week.

We fly back tomorrow and I’m not ready yet haha but at the same time I’m always ready to see our people in the states. Thank you to everyone who follows my novels on social media 😂❤️
