Had the pleasure for the 2nd time to work on the @black.art.speaks BLM mural for Cincy BLINK , this time with my wonderful art friend @kreationsbycarter 🙌🏾❤️ She designed this wonderful/meaningful piece & I was beyond grateful to help paint it! To be surrounded by so many artist who know how to move with grace, love and kindness. Black lives will forever matter & when we are able to vocalize our voice and our talent, we radiate with JOY. I thank The Most High for moments like this ❤️ by @creatively_rye

I had an amazing time working with @black.art.speaks and @soulpaletteart on the BLM mural for BLINK this year, and the energy was incredible. It feels so special to be part of this experience! Four years ago, I stood in the same place, mesmerized by the mural, and now, being able to contribute to it is such a meaningful full circle moment ❤️ 📸: @im_theish by @creatively_rye

Finally got around to making more tie dye bandanas for the summer and I’m obsessed 😍 by @creatively_rye
“Deeper Than Condition” 24X30 Acrylic on canvas Took a pic of my best friends doing each other hair a few years ago and I have wanted to paint this picture ever since. Sisterhood has always been so important to me since I didn’t grow up with one. Now that I have so many sisters in my life, I wanted to reflect on the importance of bonding through beauty. As Black women we have helped each other with our hair since the beginning of our being. This is a symbol of companionship and love that will continue for a lifetime 💕 Thank you to @naaaptural_ & @ro.oliviaaa for being my inspiration and my girls! 🥰🫶🏽 by @creatively_rye
It’s been such an honor to be a mentor for @soulpaletteart CANVAS program! My mentees have been so amazing with producing phenomenal work and I’m so excited for the future that they behold! Mentorship has been truly and eye opening experience for me and it something I wish I had during my high school years. So now I make it a mission to provide a better experience than what I had growing up for young artist. I am beyond proud and excited for my mentees to continue to strive to the best of their artistic ability ❤️ by @creatively_rye

On Thursday April 25, 2024 I officially graduated from The University of Cincinnati with my Masters in Fine Arts, specializing in painting and mixed media. & Today, I was blessed to celebrate Tyehimba with my @ucaacrc family ❤️ I never would’ve ever imagined the journey I would have to go through to get to this point. If you know me, you know that these past 2 years have been extremely rough. Losing grandparents, dealing with mental & physical health issues and many more. But God brought me here for a reason and I won’t stop now. So so thankful to everyone who has said ANYTHING kind, supported my art, gave me wisdom and inspiration, the list goes on and on. I’m gonna miss my class and my peers who have been the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. To my grandparents, I wish you could’ve seen this moment. I just hope and pray everyday that I am making you proud ❤️🙏🏽 WE DID IT YALL!!! by @creatively_rye
