🍁Join us for a Poetry Workshop this Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 pm! We’ll be meeting in room 401-E of MLK Library. All skill levels are welcome to join for a night of casual critique and conversation about craft. We recommend bringing about 10 hard copies of any poem you’d like to share with the group (the library allows 20 free pages of printing per day). See you there! #DMVPoets #Poetry #PoetryWorkshop #CreativesClub by @creativesclubdc
Join us today (10/29) for an extra spooky open meetup at the Labs studio space at the MLK Library from 6 to 8 pm! Please sign in with the librarians at the basement desk when you arrive. Bring a project to work on while socializing! A journal, sketchbook, drawing pad, crochet project, whatever you feel like. If you need to do some last minute costume making for the weekend, this is the meetup to do it! If this is your first time, you'll need to fill out a waiver, which you can do online before (link in bio) or once you get to the Labs. No food in the labs, but there's usually a group that goes to get food after the meetup! Covered drinks like water bottles are okay. by @creativesclubdc

Join Creatives Club for this Thursday (10/15) at Temperance Alley Garden where we will have an open meetup and community jam from 6 - 9 pm! These meetups are perfect for folks to play music together, so bring an instrument if you have one! Otherwise come & enjoy the music while working on another project or activity (e.g. drawing, crocheting, painting, etc). Feel free to bring picnic blankets, food, drinks, and bug spray, too! It may be hot this week so make sure you bring water and sunscreen! The Garden is located by the U St Metro stop in the alley between 12th & 13th and T & U St NW. See the second slide for a map. #dclife #dcartists #dmvartists #dmvmeets #dcmeetups by @creativesclubdc
