GQ Midden-Oosten, Follow The Money en The New York Times.

His fascination with muscles, body shapes, and characters forms the basis of all his work. “It’s fleshy. I add a lot of movement and distort it, so that the proportions no longer conform to the laws of nature, but it does have an internal logic. In its spatiality and solidity.” Andrew Tseng, artist and illustrator, on his illustrations for publications including GQ Middle East, Follow The Money, and The New York Times.

“In 2020, she set herself a challenge: to create a collage

Jalinka Gressmann on the power of consistency, and how a self-imposed challenge gave her routine a boost.

Ever since he was a child, he has been fascinated by everyday objects that come in various shapes and colors, such as a brush or a ruler. “Once I started noticing one thing, I kept finding new ones,” he says. “Somehow it always turns out to be something beautiful. They each have their own character.” Hugo Rocco (@hugo.rocci), painter and bookmaker, on the common thread in his work.

“I have a video of him (James Holden) playing my track in 2013, at midnight in Trouw. A track I once made in my bedroom, and then I saw him play it and people dancing to it. I think it’s funny how it all comes full circle.” Illustrator and artist Jorge Velez (@jorgevelezart) on chance, trust, and creating.
