Just want to take a moment to congratulate @jacobschase on his big opening weekend for @insidiousmovie! Absolute must see!! Especially with the spooky season right around the corner.

I’ve had the pleasure of living next to Jacob for a while now, and I have to say, his love & appreciation for horror/halloween is unmatched! From his background designing haunted houses, to his unique storytelling, he is someone that truly understands what it takes to give someone a good scare! Every year I look forward to what new feature he adds to his house for Halloween. 🎃🤌🏻

I am truly grateful to have met him, and it’s been a privilege to watch his career grow. Can’t wait to see what you do next my friend! Congratulations!! by @creativosegreto

Throwback Thursday with some 2010 vibes. Midwest summers, and heated sessions with the boys. There is this beautiful thing that happens during sessions like this, where everyone is in a flow state, and tricks just start happening back to back. I remember pulling up to the last spot of the day excited to get some clips. The second the camera came out, I busted my ankle launching off one of the ramps. Regardless, picked up the camera and proceeded to watch the boys rip.

Had the pleasure of shooting @leo_mart21 for @latimesfood. Such a welcoming couple, and incredibly generous to anyone who comes through. They truly understand the importance of community, and by the time you leave, you feel like you’re part of the family. Thank you again for everything, can’t wait to come back! by @creativosegreto

I once met a man… During a time in my life when I was really out on L.A. and dealing with the ups and downs of working in “the industry” I decided to take a hike to help clear my head of the dark cloud I had created. It can be really easy to become discouraged, or overwhelmed with feelings of inadequacy working in the creative space. “Why them?” “Why not me.?” Imposter syndrome, all the things that make you second guess the choices you’ve made to pursue this otherwise next to impossible task of making a career out of your passions. “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life”

As I reached the peak of the mountain and sat on the bench to take in the view, a man appeared out of nowhere, or so it seemed. “Hello” he said as I was catching my breath. “Beautiful morning, wouldn’t you say.?” He’s asked. I simply replied, “yeah, I suppose it is…” without skipping a beat he looks at me and says “At least we have this, right brother?” Then steps up to embrace the sun. I don’t know how to explain the feeling that came over me in that moment, or why it resonated with me so much, but there was a level of clarity that came from it, like an unbearable weight had been lifted. I’m sure we’ve all experienced this at some point in our lives.

Now, thinking back to that day… The message, or feeling I was hit with, was the importance of getting outside of the noise. The noise we make for ourselves, or receive from others. It’s a competitive game we play in this pursuit of passions, and it can be easy to forget why we do it in the first place. Especially today in such a monetary society. The likes, the exposure, this is my BIG break! Then it never comes… It’s easy to forget how far you’ve traveled when always looking forward. Embrace the journey, and steadfast, you’re much further than you think! 🫶🏻 by @creativosegreto
