Y'all know I live for a full circle moment 🥹 Most know me as a beauty and travel creator, but before that I worked in celebrity PR.

Years ago I had the opportunity to work with Keke Palmer, and not long after the second photo was taken I made what seemed like a crazy decision: I left PR, left the country, and started a travel blog… before “travel influencer” was a real career.

Fast forward 12 years and @keke and I reconnected at Cannes Lions where I got to watch her speak as the entrepreneur, creative, and powerhouse she is today 🙌🏿

It’s funny how life works. One bold decision can completely change your life… and somehow bring you full circle years later ✨

When I met @keith_lee125 at Cannes Lions I didn't want to ask him about how to grow your followers or gain clout, but was genuinely curious how he stays rooted even with so many distractions on social media. I loved his response! 🙌🏿

I've always admired how he handles the fame and major opportunities without it derailing his faith and commitment to community. I know it's easier said than done!

Turns out, it's by keeping the main thing the main thing! 🙂‍↕️ I hope this inspires you today ✨

You never know what will happen at Cannes Lions! ✨

Keke Palmer kicked off an impromptu karaoke sesh at @femalequotient with No Scrubs and had the girls on their feet immediately 🎤

The best part is @keke actually played Chilli from TLC so it was pretty iconic 🩷

I first met @olandria in August 2025, and watching her career skyrocket since then has been so beautiful to witness 🫶🏾

I had to ask her what she knows now that she wishes she could tell herself back then, and her answer was simple: trust the process ✨

She said she worried a lot, but still ended up exactly where she needed to be!

That feels like advice for Olandria's past self, my current self, and every Content Creator trying to figure it out in real time 🥹 It’s so easy to focus on what isn’t happening yet, but sometimes everything is working out even when you can’t see it!

How it's going vs how it started with @olandria at Cannes Lions 2026! 🥰 That's what I love most about going to Cannes – meaningful encounters and full circle moments ✨

Olandria and I met in August 2025 at a Rare Beauty perfume launch, and it has been absolutely incredible to see her career skyrocket!

And even more impressive is how she's handled it with so much grace, and is still the same kind, down to earth woman I met almost a year ago 🥹🫶🏾

Cannes Lions predictions, part 2 👀

As the founder of @creatorsatcannes, I wanted to get this one on record before Cannes Lions 2026 kicks off: there will be more events than ever, but getting confirmed may be harder.

A lot of Croisette activations are technically open to anyone who RSVPs, but this year I’m already seeing longer approval times, more waitlists, and RSVP windows opening and closing fast.

So the first update to my guide after this year will definitely include how to better position yourself to get a YES to each RSVP.

Cannes Lions predictions 👀 Do you agree?

I went last year, and as the founder of @creatorsatcannes, I wanted to get these on record before Cannes Lions 2026 officially kicks off.

My first prediction? The Coachella effect. More creators want to go because Cannes Lions looks flashy, glamorous, and exclusive online, but a lot of them may be surprised when they realize it’s still very much a professional marketing conference.

Think LinkedIn on the beach, with actual LinkedIn on the beach.
