Taurus Szn has me moving slower than I typically like. Many, many earthly matters have seen there way to the top of my priorities. And in surrendering to the energy of the season and listening to the needs of my body and the bodies of my families, this latest episode landed farther from the beginning of the season than I originally intended.

But its medicine is still potent.

Its ritual is still needed.

I’m teaching Acro again! We start this Thursday, Sept. 17th. 6-7:15pm at Take the Leap Dance Studio in Gardiner, NY.

What you DON’T need:
🤸‍♀️ a partner (we mostly work in groups of 3!)
🤸‍♀️ experience (I will teach you at your level!)
🤸‍♀️ a yoga mat (we will have panel mats on site)

What you do need:
🌻 a desire to PLAY, to deepen your relationship with your body, and to move within a kind and consent-based community

All you need is a curiosity and a desire to understand yourself, the moment, and the tools available to you. I will show you how.

Tarot has become one of all time favorite ways to check in with myself. To hone in on the heck is going on and what I can do about it or learn from it. It is a constant source of grounding and support as well as a direct line to the unseen world.

You don’t need any particular faith to work with tarot. The cards give a voice to whomever you are invoking—be it your inner knowing, god, an ancestor, an element.

In this series we will explore the Tarot in 4 parts:

1️⃣The Relationship - Crafting Your Container, Question Architecture, and Symbol Sifting
2️⃣The Major Arcana - The Soul’s Journey and Mapping the Macro
3️⃣The Minor Arcana - The Earthly Realm, Elements, and Everyday Life
4️⃣The Court Cards - The Inner Council and Embodiment Invitations

You can drop in to one class or take the whole series.

When I first started doing Acro, I couldn’t touch my toes, I needed the teacher to physically help me into and through every new move and flow, and my legs would shake every time I tried to lift someone.

So no, you are not too weak or too inflexible to do this. 💪

You might be too scared or too nervous and that’s okay! Trying something new is scary.

We’ve all been new at this and we love supporting new people find their confidence and genuinely have so much fun as they grow in strength and ability.

Jam Jam with @wearewildarts at @stonemountainfarmny was so fun! I got to do some acro, see some awesome trapeze acts, and connect with people in my ever growing community.

Water isn’t just one thing. As much as it can be peaceful and clarifying, it can also be forceful and dangerous. It fills whatever container is offered to it. It wears down stones to grains of sand.

The Elements are powerful tools when it comes to energy work. I invoke them regularly and with reverence. I notice how they play in both my experience and the world around me.

It’s Cancer Season and Water has been on the forefront of my mind. As the element I feel most connected to, I feel both at ease in seasons ruled by it and in deep need of its medicine. Maybe you do too.

My yoga classes this season will all feature the element of Water and this chant will be offered at the end of every session.

So excited to be offering what I hope becomes a series!

In this class we will explore the story of the major arcana and how to build a relationship with the deck as well as how to craft meaningful questions that elicit support, clarity, and guidance.

🃏Please bring a favored deck if you have one but I will have a few of my own you can use if you don’t have one.

Absolutely no experience is required but if you do have experience this will still be a beautiful container to connect to the tarot community and deepen your relationship with the cards.
